Chapter 2

(On the other side of the city)

The silver-haired mercenary arrived back the organization she worked for and walked in the building to go up on the top floor, everyone moved out of her way as she looked at them making them fear her. She knocked on the door and heard her employer's voice telling her to come in, she bowed to her employer and gave him a full report of the mission.

"Apparently you didn't tell me sir that another mercenary was on the same mission as well." She said.

"What did the other mercenary looked like?" The employer asked.

"It was a male wearing a black and red suit." She said.

"Deadpool." The employer said.

"Excuse me?" The female mercenary questioned him.

"Deadpool, he's a mercenary as well but he's insane and gets distracted by a lot of things but he gets the job done." He said.

"Insane, just like me?" She asked.

"Somewhat like you but you're more in control of your insanity." The employer said.

"So what are we going to do about this...Deadpool?" She asked.

"I'll have to find out who his employer is and get him in this organization it'll probably take a few years to do. For now you have four months off since you worked so hard and here's you pay and a bonus pay." Her employer said as he gave her two envelopes of her checks.

"Thank you sir." The mercenary said as she bowed.

She left the building and got on her motorcycle to drive to Stark Towers, she enter the pass code and went to the underground parking lot. She turned off her motorcycle and got in the elevator to go on the top floor where she grabbed a flying arrow that almost hit her face, she raised her eyebrow as she saw Hawkeye with a sheepish smile.

"Sorry, little Banner. Didn't mean to do it you know keeping your guard up." Hawkeye said.

"Uh-huh, is my father home?" Sophia asked as she threw back the arrow.

"Yeah, he's in the lab with Iron face right now." Hawkeye said.

"Thanks, I wonder what would happen if Uncle Tony find out what you called him hmmm?" Sophia said with a smirk at Hawkeye's pale face.

"Don't do it I don't want my butt being burn by his laser again." Hawkeye said.

"Fine as long you buy me some sweets tomorrow I'm on vacation." Sophia said.

"Okay, as long you don't tell Stark what I called him." Hawkeye said.

"Deal." Sophia said.

They shook hands and Sophia went to the door that goes straight to the lab and walked down the stairs, as she was getting near the lab she heard two male voices talking to each other as she walked in the lab she saw the other Avenger members were there now; however, she was very excellent in stealth that she was able to hide from the superheroes and snuck up behind her father and hugged him.

"Oh my god!! Sophia what did I tell you about sneaking behind me?" Bruce scolded his daughter.

"Does that mean you don't love me anymore." Sophia said with a fake whimper.

"I still love you but warn me next time and welcome home sweetie." Bruce said as he hugged his daughter.

"Oh, I'm on vacation for four months and I got my checks today." Sophia said in a singsong voice.
