Chapter 6: What about Ema? {edited}

"Gahh.." Once (Name) fluttered her eyes open once the pain from yesterday hit her.
"My head is aching and my body feels like it's burning.." She peeled the blanket off of her sweaty body.

"Masa-nii.." She whimpered turning to her side.
As if the Gods answered her, Masaomi came through the door. He wanted check up on her.

"Are you alright?" Masaomi sat on the edge of the bed placing the back of his palm on her forehead.
"Ah, you're burning up. I'll be back." He walked out of the room to get something.

(Name) looks out of the window near her bed enjoying the warmth the sun is giving.
Masaomi comes back in with a bottle of painkillers, vitimins, and water.

"Here." He brings out 2 pills from the bottles.
"These will ease the pain and the other one will help you become stronger." He placed the two pills in her palm and gave her the water bottle.

She sat up and threw the pills in before swallowing it down with water.
"Oh hey! I almost feel better!" She giggled.
"So, now I can go to work now!" She was going to pull herself up but he stopped her.
"Nope."
"But I have an important client-"
"That's not going to work, (Name)." She pouted while he chuckled whole heartedly.

"You're so reckless (Name), I can't help but worry about you. Lots of people care about you."

"Hm?" (Name) was surprised by what he said.
"Why do you look so surprised?" Masaomi tilted his head slighty.

"I thought.. I told them to stop worrying about me."
Masaomi sighed, and stood up.
"It's alright, (Name). We love and care about you so don't feel bad." He looked directly into her eyes.
"I'd do anything to heal my sister." She sweat dropped.
'What about Ema?' Masaomi looked down at his watch on his wrist and sighed.

"Its my time to leave." He leaned down towards her forehead and kissed it.
"Get well, alright?" He gave her his infamous heart warming smile.
She nodded as he walked out of her room.

(Name) looked up at the ceiling in silence contemplating about her life choices.

She curled up into ball before aggressively punching her pillow.
"I'm already bored!!" She whined as she continously rolled on her bed.

As if a light switch was turned on, a idea popped in her head.
'I could escape!' She was so giddy about her idea, she excitedly went over to her closet to wear her casual clothes.

Forcing herself to stand on her tiptoes, she walked out of her room and halfway down the stairs.

She flailed her arms around in panic refraining herself from screaming.
She slowly walked down the stairs and landed on the tiled floor. She sighed in relief but froze when she heard familiar noises.
"Hmm? Where's Imouto? I wanted to make sure she was okay!" Tsubaki exclaimed.

"Masaomi told us to keep an eye on her, she really is persistent on working." Azusa responded.
"Let's go down stairs." He suggested. Their voices were getting louder as they came closer to the staircase.

With no hesitation, (Name) dashed towards the main doors of the house and hid behind a bush. Her small body was a perfect fit for the bush.

She heard their footsteps tapping on the ground as they panted.
"Where'd she go?" It was silent, and she assumed they were looking around.
"Can't find her! How about going back inside for a bit?" Tsubaki suggested while his twin sighed.
"Alright,but just for a bit!" Their footsteps went further away.And atlast, she heard the door close with a click.

(Name) happily jumped out of her hiding spot fist pumping the air.
"Yes!"
And then she sighed. The sun rays were hitting her a little too harshly.
'Great..' She walked towards the directions she memorized to her saloon.
Her pale skin was absorbing the sun's heat which caused sweat.She felt naseous and sticky.

The view of her small saloon caused (Name) to suddenly feel excited.
Every step she took caused her to run faster.

"Yes! Yes! I can finally wor-"

"Nope." The twins appeared in front of her store and pulled away.

"Wha-no! Don't do this!" The overdramatic female reached out to her beloved store before looking down onto the ground in defeat.

"Mouu! You guys are mean!"
"It's big bros orders!" Tsubaki sang.
"And,"
"We'd do anything for our dear sister!" They happily said in sync.

She sweat dropped the second time today.
'What about Ema?'

"Hmmmmmmmm." (Name) was rubbing her chin thinking of something to do in her sick day.

"What is it now, (Name)?" Azusa was switching channels on the TV for half an hour since they've arrived.

"Can we go to a mochi store?"

"(Name), stuff like those are going to make you stay longer in here." Azusa sighed and placed the remote down.

"C'mon Azusa! I think (Name) can handle it!" Tsubaki cheered.
"Yeah I can!"
"Tsubaki, I know (Name) is cute, but don't let her tricks get to you." Tsubaki looked down in defeat.

"You're right.."

"Azu-nii! I'm a grown up!"

"Physically, yes. Mindset? No." She pouted at his response.
"You don't know about that, Azu-nii!"

"Ooh! I know what we can do! Let's test her intelligence!" Tsubaki clasped his hands together happily.

"Sure, but lets make it appropriate-"

"What's intercourse?" (Name) had a confused face on when she heard the new vocabulary word.
"Is it some kind of disease?" Tsubaki deadpanned forcing (Name) to change her answer quickly.

"Intercourse, is uh, is when you have parkour course inside!" She proudly stated her eyes shining brightly.

"No, it's when-Ouch! Azusa that hurt!" Tsubaki pouted rubbing the spot on his head where his brother hit.

"I said appropriate questions!"

"Okay, hmm..." Tsubaki thought hard about any appropriate questions he learned in highschool.

"Why is the sky blue?"  (Name) looked at the ground with furrowed eyebrows.

"You dumb dumb Nee-san! It's because.."

"Pffft..."

"H-hold on! Its because of evolution!"

Azusa sighed,

"No, it's because the molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight."

"Huh?"

"Oh! Oh! I got one! It's mathematical, (Name) will get this one for sure!" Tsubaki took a deep breath.

"69+69+69"
Tsubaki laughed while Azusa turned red. It was like a inside joke (Name) couldn't decipher.
She was serious about this addition problem and using her mental math skills she got the answer.

"207!" Azusa smiled brightly.
"Yep."
"Did you know that that number is related to intercourse?" Tsubaki chuckled.

"Wait you mean that 69 is used in parkour courses?" (Name) tilted her head confusingly. Her response caused Tsubaki to laugh harder.
"You're so cute, (Name)! Hehe~!"
"What did I do?"
Azusa sighed patting his poor confused sister on the shoulder.

"Leave the weird man and his weird fetishes alone, Imouto."
