When Your Parents/Brother Meet Him

(Y/n) Pov.

I was sitting in my room drawing when suddenly dad called me downstairs. He didn't sound too happy so I froze. "Y-yeah Dad?" I asked.
"(Y/n) where are you?" he asked.
"In my room," was my answer.
"I want you to come down," he said. I nodded even though he couldn't see me and closed my notebook but left my pencil on the page where my drawing was. I went downstairs to where my dad was. I couldn't tell if he was happy or not happy.

"So (y/n) tell me, how is it going with you and you're boyfriend?" He asked. I gulped. He knows? How? I was gonna tell him myself when the time came.
"H-how do you know about that?" I asked nervously.
"You left your phone down here. You got a text and I glanced at it before your phone turned off and it said it was from this guy named Lloyd," he explained. Okay so he really did know.
"Yes that is my boyfriend," you answers. He nodded.
"Your mother and I want to meet him. And your brother is coming home today for a visit from college so he will be meeting him too." My brother?! I thought. My brother was very protective of me. Once in school I had a crush on a boy and when I told him he laughed and when my brother found out he punched him square in the nose. Of course he got in trouble but I was proud of my brother for protecting me.
I'm afraid he's gonna scare away Lloyd though. He can tend to be pretty scary.

I grabbed my phone and went upstairs into my room with it. I went to my texts and checked what Lloyd had sent me.

My boyfriend: Hey (y/n) when's the best time to hang out? Love u.❤️-Lloyd

Me: Hey Lloyd. I can't today. Oh and my dad wants to meet you...so does my mom...and my overprotective brother is coming.

MyBoyfriend: Oh. Well when do they want to meet me?

Me: I believe the soonest should be at dinner tonight.

MyBoyfriend: Kay. I'll see you then.

Me: Bye Lloyd.

MyBoyfriend: Bye. 👋🏻

I turned off my phone and sighed. This night is gonna be eventful...

I had told my dad Lloyd would be coming over for dinner. He agreed to that.

My brother should be here any minute now. I haven't seen him in a while. I wondered if he changed any. I continued to wait for him. I finally heard a car pull up into the driveway. I jumped up and looked out the window. Yes! It's him! He's here!
I got up and ran outside. "Kade!" I exclaimed. (That's your bros name in this story. Kade has dark brown messy hair, reddish brown eyes and is really tall) Kade spotted me and smiled.
"(Y/n)!" He yelled my name. I ran over and hugged him. I looked him over. He had grown up taller and even more muscular since I last saw him.
"I've really missed you," I said. He smiled.
"I missed you too (y/n)," he said. We began walking in. "So how have you been?" He asked. I smiled.
"I've been good. How bout you?" I asked as we went inside.
"I've been doing well," he said. Just then my mom and dad walked out.

"Kade!" They exclaimed and engulfed him in a hug. I smiled to see how happy my parents were that he was home.
I suddenly remembered that they had to meet Lloyd tonight. I had to tell my brother so he wouldn't pass out at dinner...

After he had talked with our parents for a while I signaled for him to come.
"Kade I need to talk to you," I said. He nodded and we went into another room. "Okay you might wanna sit down," I said. He nodded and sat on a chair.
"Okay here goes..." I said taking a deep breath. "I have a...boyfriend."
"YOU HAVE A WHAT?!" Kade exclaimed nearly falling out of his seat. I nodded.
"He's really nice. He treats me very well. You'll be meeting him tonight at dinner," I explained. He still looked shocked.
"Well this was an interesting thing to come home too..." He sighed.
