Chapter 16: Ghost in my body

Previously, on your favorite program, Sweet Talker;

As I was thinking and running I ran into someone's back. The knife in my pocket fell out. I picked it up and looked up, and saw Subaru.

《Your P.o.v》

"Heheheh..." I laughed nervously. 

"Hello, Subaru..." I said backing up a bit, hoping he wasn't pissed at me. He grabbed me forcibly.

"It's too late to run away, you should've left when you had the chance." He said. He got closer and got poked slightly by the knife in my hand. He stared at it.

"Did you give me this knife?" I asked holding it up to him,

"Yes, I want you to be the one to kill me when I ask you to."

"If you can't do that, then you should kill yourself with this knife." He said staring seriously at me.

"Well... I guess I'll be dying soon." I said, staring back at him leaning closer to his face.

"What?" He said in confusion. I leaned closer to his face and whispered,

"If I kill you Subaru, then how can I show you that women can be understood." He looked down at me, our faces were inches apart. His eyes were watery. By the looks of it he was thinking of his Mother. Suddenly I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him on the lips. I closed my eyes and moved my mouth against his, which weren't moving at all. 

I couldn't bare to see him cry, so I kissed him. Wow, I'm fucking weird.

I pulled back and I looked up at him. His eyes were no longer watery.

Subaru looked down at me, and suddenly pulled me into a tight embrace. I dropped the knife he gave me and hugged back tightly. He deserves so much love..

We pulled back from the hug, and Subaru blushed in embarrassment, but I can't say I wasn't the same. I blushed too. That was the first time I made the first move in kiss. I stood there awkwardly fiddling with my fingers.

Someone cleared their throat behind us, " You two should be sleeping right now." I turned around and saw Reiji's sharp glare.

"Yes of course, sorry." I apologized. Subaru only grunted and we both entered the mansion.

Subaru walked beside me, then stopped at a door. I was about to keep walking but he grabbed my hand.

"Tch, you're sleeping with me tonight." He said and pushed me harshly into the room. I looked around and saw a coffin.

"Both of us won't fit in your coffin." I said.

"We will." He responded Subaru went into his coffin and pulled me on top of him. I blushed brightly. I'm not normally like this...I pressed my hands up against his chest. Since I'm going to be sleeping here I should be comfortable right? So I put my arms around his neck and rested my head on his chest. Subaru put his arms around my waist and hugged me.

"Good night." I said.

"Shut up." He said. I mentally chuckled, He's such a Tsundere.

《TIME SKIP》

I woke up and looked outside. It was still really dark. I slipped out of Subaru's arms and and walked toward the window in his room. I looked outside and saw Yui... She was following a man with long green hair wearing all black.
