a day later; early morning, stilinski householdI watch as Scott packs some of Stiles' shirts into his bag. Scott packs for him while Stiles fixes up the Jeep. The sun isn't even up.
The past couple of days have been busy ones. Scott, Stiles and I have been down exploring the tunnels for any other signs of the beast. The only things we've found so far are the words damnatio memoriae, and a fresco with the beast and the hellhound fighting over what appears to be a pile of dead bodies. Speaking of hellhounds, Lydia finally was able to tell us what Parrish is. They are working together to see if they can figure out what his connection is to all of this. Liam and Mason have been going back to the woods, but still haven't had any luck finding the nemeton.
Stiles and I still haven't talked about anything. We really haven't had the time with everything going on. I haven't even asked him why he broke up with Malia, which I found out through her. But the person who I have talked to is Corey. What Theo said was true, he did know about him working with the Dread Doctors, and Theo did threaten to kill him if he said a word. What about Mason? I asked. I didn't mean to hurt him, I don't want to hurt him. I-I love him. I'm sorry. He said. And I believe him. Like Josh, Corey was caught up in the middle of this. Talk to Mason, tell him the truth. Because if you don't I will, I don't keep secrets from him. And I won't let anyone hurt him. I told him. He nodded and I walked out.
I've been going back and forth from the hospital with Scott and Stiles. Dad's set to come home from the hospital tomorrow. I wanted to stay at the hospital with him last night but he insisted I come home. The only reason I didn't put up much of a fight was because Melissa promised to keep a close eye on him during her night shift.
"Scott, please." I say as I stand by the doorway of Stiles' room.
"No." he says as he packs the last items on the mental list he's made.
"Why not?"
"You already know the answer to that."
I sigh impatiently. "Let me go with you. If Kira's in danger, I want to help her."
"Still no." Scott says as he walks out the door with the bag. "It's too dangerous."
I quickly walk after him and begin to follow him down the stairs. "That's not a very good argument, considering that 99.9% of the things we do around here are dangerous." I say as I bump into him. He's stopped in the middle of the stairs and looks straight ahead. I look over his shoulder and see a nervous Liam.
"What are you doing here?" Scott asks him.
"Looking for you."
Scott continues down the stairs, and I'm right behind him. I stay at the end of the stairs and Scott walks right past him. "I'm sorry, I can't talk right now Liam." he says.
Liam looks at me and then to Scott who is headed out the door. "I found the nemeton. Well, Mason and I did. Josh and Tracy's bodies were there, along with some other chimeras. We called 9-1-1."
