three weeks later

With Scott leaving Beacon Hills, he's preparing Liam to become the Alpha. Liam doubts himself a lot but I now he can do it. Especially with Scott's guidance.

Once Stiles goes off to college, dad said he'd help me get a car since Stiles is taking the Jeep with him.

Speaking about my dad, things are getting pretty serious with him and Melissa. It makes me so happy that words can't even describe.

The pack is closer and stronger than ever, and we enjoy our time together before everything changes.

This is it. The last lacrosse game my brother, Scott, and Kira will ever play for Beacon Hills. Lacrosse season has come to an end and the very much anticipated championship game is finally here.

There are so many people here. There aren't enough seats for everyone so people stand around the field as they try to watch the game.

I sit between Mason and my dad, and Melissa sits next to him. Noshiko and Ken sit next to her. Malia, Derek, and Braeden sit next to Mason.  Deaton, Chris, Parrish, Lydia, Becca and Celeste sit behind us. I see Liam's parents sitting a couple of bleachers away from us.

The game has been going on for a while and Beacon Hills is losing by 4. It's almost half time and it'll give them some time to regroup. They have to win. And not just because it's the last time I'll ever see them play after four years of cheering them on, but because they deserve to go out in glory.

It's cold out and Mason and I sit close together, interlocking our arms. I tug on my moms necklace as this game has me incredibly nervous. My stomach is tied up in a knot and every so often I catch myself holding my breath.

The ref blows the whistle indicating it's half-time as coach calls his players over. I have no idea what he's saying, all I see are his arms flailing. He then goes over to the bench and talks to some of his other players. That's when Scott gathers the team. They all put their arms around each other, huddling in a circle. I can't hear what Scott is saying, but I can tell he's getting the team fired up.

The whistle is blown again and the teams make it back onto the field. Whatever Scott said to them is working, because they are all moving more precisely and they seamlessly work as a unit.

It's Corey who scores first, drawing the crowd back into the game. Mason cheers him on, and we do too.

Then, Kira scores.
