Chapter 8 - (The Tension)

Camila's POV

She is currently in the library while waiting for her next class.
She looks from her left and right from time to time to check wether that Lauren girl is just around the corner and she might get caught unprepared again. Yes, she kinda have a traumatic experience for the surprise appearance of the green eye girl. Seconds later the bell ring and signals the start of her next class. She do hope that she didnt have this next class with her.

She was busy gathering her things into her knapsack that she didn't notice Lauren approaching her slowly. This girl have a goofy smile while walking towards her.

"Your things seems heavy do you need any help?" The green eye girl said.

Camila has been startled that she drop her things on the table. She abruptly lean her heads up to look at the familiar voice she recognize.

"Hey, you again, why do I never notice you coming?" She said abruptly.

The green eye girl smile at her statement then whisper near her ear. "Maybe because Im kinda like a ninja mia, or maybe your just too consume by your own world babe" the girl said with smirk.

The whisper send shiver down her spine, and made her blush a bit, she just ignore it though.

"In case you forgot, my name is Camila and not babe" she said annoyed again.

Lauren look back" Ok ,lets settle this once and for all, Im not gonna call you babe but I will call you Camz, how was that?" She said with goofy smile.

"Ok fine" Camila said non chalantly " Bring me back my bag though" She said while trying to grab back her things.

Lauren just smile and dodge it to the other side. "Nope Its too heavy for you ill give it back when we reach the class.

The two wasn't aware of the stares they are receiving from the other students some just smile while others throw curious glances. They are confious as why did someone like Lauren are hanging out with someone that is not popular in the school. Some send Camila a hate stare (specially those die hard fans of Lauren Jauregui)

Camila hear some student says "who is she why is she hanging with our Lauren, she is nobody duh!"

Camila felt uncomfortable and walk faster towards the room and sit at her usual sit at the back.

Lauren follow suit and notice her change of mood , she throw curious glance at Camila and carefully place her bag on the table and sit beside her.

"Hey Camz what happen? why you seem so sad suddently?" Lauren whisper to her side.

Camila look at her with gloomy expression and turn back her vision to the whiteboard and whisper enough for girl beside her to hear.
"Please leave me alone, were not even friends". She stresses out then completely ignore the girl beside her, she decided to sit away from the girl , right after she saw a spot in the middle and decided to sit there.

Lauren's POV

Lauren just stay there astound she tried to reach for Camila but she was stop by a hand.

She look back and see a blond girl smiling to her and said "don't bother her she's a little bit eccentric, anyway, Im Lucy" the blond girl said smiling seductively. Lauren look at the girl, she saw this girl on cheering squad, she look back at Camila who are busy taking down her notes, glad that the professor is busy writing something at the board. She was busy looking at Camila that she totally forgot someone is talking to her.

She was astound when someone tap her shoulder to get her attention.

"Hey" said the blond beside her.

Lauren decided that she didn't want unnecessary attention. She look at class, once she is sure that no one pays attention she point her fingers to the girl beside her and said " hey, look I think there is lizard over there?"

The girl look where she point her finger "Omg where?, I cannot see it?" The girl look back to Lauren but she was already gone.

"Where is she? The blond girl said. She look around and saw Lauren waive to professor then go out of the class.

Camila's POV

Camila notice that Lauren goes out of the class. "Well at least she wouldnt bother me anymore" she told herself not recognizing the sadness and regret enveloping her.

Lauren's POV

She take a glance at Camila on her way out then go straight to the music room. You can see her here often, it's kinda like old habit before, she always drawn herself in music specially when something is bothering her.

She is on her way to the door when she notice that someone is inside, she take a peek and saw that Brad is inside.

"Hey!" She greeted Brad one of her bandmate in the "The Harmonizers".

"Hey Lauren, nice to see you here, but you suppose to have a class right?" Brad said with a smile.

" Yeah, kinda slip, you know I can't stand some annoyance" she said non chalantly.

"You mean you can't stand someone hitting on you?" Brad said with a chuckle.

Lauren just shrug. "By the way come on lets jam" Lauren said while sitting on the stall near the piano.

Brad hold the guitar and began to strum it. Then Brad began to sing.

I found a girl who's in love with a girl, she said i was nice but she's not into guys.
Oh why tell me why I fell in love with those eyes..

At that part Brad look at Lauren intently.

Lauren gives a knowing look with Brad as he tried to court her before , she just hum the melody and started playing the piano.

The bell rang, signals the end of the class. She gather her things and goes out of the room. It's her last subject for the day.

"Uhm, Brad see you tomorrow" she said before leaving the room.

She got important matters to attend to mostly involving a cute brown eye girl....
