Chapter 10 - The Moon

CAMILA'S POV:

Camila bump into someone when she decided to take a sudden turned back.

"Ouch, sorry" she said without looking back while holding her head.

"No, its ok i should have maintain a distance. The girl said.

Camila suddenly turn her heads up, upon hearing the familiar voice.

She look directly to the most beautiful emerald eyes she had ever seen.

"Oh my good please stop looking at me, why do we always meet like this? " she said inwardly as she keeps staring with those beautiful orbs, she can't seem to take her eyes away from the gazed.

The emerald orbs looks directly in her with so much tenderness and a little bit of playful glare.

She gasps inwardly as the world seems to stop, and she can only hear her pulse rising and her heartbeat on irregular pattern.

Though it seems odd for her, this feeling seems familiar. Like this has happened before.

The trance was ruined upon the strike of loud thunder followed by a lightning in the distance. She suddenly close the gap between them and find solace in the green eye orbs embrace which she accepted whole heartedly.

She can feel the warmth and familiar feeling of security in her arms. This seems odd since they just meet for a few times. The overwelming feeling seems to consumed her whole being.

The girl made a few inch gap to look at her and say,

"Camz lets go, we will be drenched soon if we stay here." Upon hearing those soft and soothing voice that's the only time she notice that small drops of rain already pour.

She just follow  her lead and soon they ride in her car which is still park on the side where she left it a while ago.

She go straight to the passenger side upon guidance of Lauren,opening the passenger door for her and run to drivers side after.

They lay still for a moment inside before Lauren spoke.

"Where is your house?" She ask gently.

Camila spoke her address and guided her by instructions towards their house.

A serene silence engulf them on the ride home. Minutes later the car parked on their garage.

"Where here Camz" Lauren gently nudge as her mind seem to be on the outer space.

Camila look at their yard and notice the heavy rain and bad weather.

She seem hesitant for a moment but decided to speak otherwise.

"Hey, thank you for the ride. Please come with me inside since I cannot allow you to drive in this condition" Camila blurted out then smile.

Lauren owestruck for a moment seeing the younger girl smile towards her. Her face seems to glow despite the darkness due to the storm. She didn't notice that she had been staring for a little bit longer than necessary. She seems to be brought back to earth upon a gentle pat on her shoulder.

Her eyes automatically landed on the brown orbs that staring at her pleadingly.

"Ok Camz, thank you for the kind gesture. Come on, it seems that it will be comfortable inside." She said smiling.

Camila open the door and gesture for Lauren to come inside.

Meanwhile someone is intently watching at them in the distance.

Third Party POV

I guess they still fine each other inspite the spell and all. Said by a misterious figure in the dark. The figure smile and loss in its thought.

Camila

"Please sit and make yourself comfortable, do you need a drink? The younger girl ask.

Lauren

"No, thanks but a hot coffee will surely warm me." The older girl said smiling.

The younger girl also smile and go straight to the kitchen to make some coffee for the two of them.
She also made some sandwiches.

She smile while looking at Lauren in a distance who began to open some of their family albums in the center table.

She brought the sanchwich and coffee and ask Lauren to join her.

Lauren

"Thank you Camz", the older girl said smiling while looking at the younger girl.

Her smile grow wider when she saw the smiley face in the sandwich.

Lauren look at her intently while Camila is looking everywhere except her.

LAUREN

"Hey Camz where is your parents?" The older girl ask out of the blue.

"They are at my aunts right now and will be spending their weekends there." The younger girl said.

"I see," comfortable silence followed soon.

They are startled by a bell rang after a minute of silence while drinking their coffee.

Camilla stand up and about to go to the doot when Lauren stop her.

"Hey , let me got this one" she said and hurries to the door.

Lauren sense some trouble. Which has her rush to the door immediately.

Camila though dumbfounded manage just to follow her by eyes then sitback, she had this constricting feeling at the back of her mind though.

Lauren rush to the door and still manage to do this as humanly as possible.

She look back and saw Camilla's questioning look for a second then goes straight to the door.

She got a sickening feeling on the pit of her stomach and now clearly sense a great danger.

What could it be?
