Chapter 3-The Shadow

Lauren's POV

She was there sitting in the shadow, it was her favorite place listening to her ipod..

Desperate for changing

Starving for truth

I'm closer to where I started

Chasing after you

I'm falling even more in love with you

Letting go of all I've held onto

I'm standing here until you make me move

I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Forgetting all I'm lacking

Completely incomplete

I'll take your invitation

You take all of me now...

Suddenly her moment had been shuddered by a loud thud behind her..

"Shadow chaser!" What is it again? She said internally.

She take her ipod out and look behind her...

Standing there is a shadow of a man in black overall, his face is mask, she can only see his eyes ...

"Whats up?" She ask.

"You had been called by the Elders, there are some urgent matters you need to attend to" the man said with utgency.

"Oh..come on Chase I had just started having my fun here, give me some time off" she said irritated.

"But Master I had specific instruction to bring you to The Elders" the man said pleadingly.

"What urgent matters it is to disturb my solitude?, Im sure they can handle it very well" she said smirking.

"But Master" Lauren stop Chase from continuing his sentence.

" No but's ok, Go back to them and tell them that I am busy with some important matter, and I cannot be disturb by any of their whimps, and please do mention that If they try to threat again my hiatus, they'll gonna pay for it so badly, understand?" The green eyed girl says with determination in her eyes, her eyes glisten with bright green hue, electric sparks seems to vibrate from her body.

The black shadow Chaser, feel the threat in his masters voice, suddenly  bow his head and disappear in the darkness.

"Goodbye Master" he said while dissapearing in the dark.

The young master left in confuse state. What the hell does the elders want from me now? She ask internally.

"They send me to this goddam Island with a promise of non interferance, why the hell they are disturbing me now?" She ask herself with the hint of anger.

She open her phone and check her gallery, she browse until she saw a sneak photo of a girl holding a banana in her hands. She suddenly smile, "this girl is something." She said.

"I don't know why she can change my mood by just looking at her. I felt lost on those brown eyes. They seem telling me a thousand stories. They are pulling me in, I can't explain why. " she said inwardly.

She remember how she meet her a week ago.

Flashback

She was back in the school were she had stay for a few months long ago.

She is temperemental and having some anger issues.

She set her foot in the school ground on her first day, she just came back from Miami a day ago and still having some adjustment for her jetlag.

She saw a camera flash from a distance. Her anger rose when she notice that her picture is taken without her permission. She sprinted and run towards the guy who took her pictures. The guy caught offguard. He does not believe how fast she was. She hold the collar of his school uniform on the right hand and reach for his camera on the left hand.

When she got a hold of the camera she throw it on the floor which broke the camera into pieces. She is seriously gonna punch the guy hard when a colorful sparkle caught her eyes. Past by her is a girl wearing the same uniform as the guy with a fairy wings and magic wand on her hands.

"What the fuck is she wearing?" She said half laughing and mocking.

The guy whom she is holding to punch is shivering in fear and look to the direction of her eyes.

"Please forgive me I didn't mean to intrude you, I just thought you are beautiful, Im sorry if I didn't ask permission." The guy rant which made Lauren to look back at him.

She looks back at the girl and ask the guy.

"Ok, I will forgive you if you can tell me the name of the girl" she said.

" I think her name is Camila, she is first year student here." The guy said.

Lauren let go of the guy and continue staring at the girl who caught her attention.

"She is stupid for wearing that outfit in school" she said laughing inwardly.

Her attention was taken by shout from two of her old friends.

"Lauren! Can't believe your here already! " said in unison by Normani and Ally.

" Come on, lets go, the guys are waiting." Ally said while pulling Lauren in the admin building.

End of Flashback

Lauren smile from the memory."That girl would be the death of me."

She put her ipod on again.

You never know when you're gonna meet someone
And your whole wide world in a moment comes undone
You're just walking around and suddenly
Everything that you thought that you knew about love is gone

You find out it's all been wrong
And all my scars don't seem to matter anymore
Cause they led me here to you.
