Chapter 5- The Encounter 2

At the Cafeteria..

Camila was sitting with her friends Dinah and Ashley

"How was your day guys?" Camila ask the two.

"Mine was so tiring, Did I tell you guys that I got myself in the baseball Team" Dinah said with smirk.

"Oh nice, congrats!" Ashley said

"I know you can do it Dinah" Camila said and made a high five with Dinah.

"Thank you guys" Dinah said smiling." Anyway, how's your day, you two?

"Mine is so stressfull, I dont know how am I gonna survive my subjects mostly compose of Math" Ash said.

"Oh.. Ash you can do It , just think of It as a hard chord on a music, just practice and soon you gotta get the hang of It" Camila said to console Ash and hug her.

Camila make a knowing eye contact with Dinah. They both know that Ashley's first love is music It's his father who force her into engineering course.

"Its alright Ash, Mila is right, you will eventually gonna get a hang of it" Dinah seconded.

"Wish I had your brains Mila , Its kind of handy at this times" Ash said in serious tone.

Mila and Dinah look at each other and laugh.

"Thank you guys, but Im serious though with Mila, you've got a genious mind inspite being child- like and crazy sometimes, not all can skip two grade and jump to college, but Im thankfull though at least Ive got two of my best buddies here in Lyceum University" Ash said smiling.

The three now smiling and continue their stories when a group enters the cafeteria.

They are all freshman in Lyceum University, It is a well known school for producing the best graduates in terms of Academic Excellence, with It's motto veritas et fotitudo "truth and courage" It has produce a lot of Individual who are already well known in their craft or had become a celebrity in their own right.

A group of five students enters.
They seem to be a head turners as all the students in the cafeteria eye on them.

" Oh my gosh, is that the "The Harmonizers!?" Dinah scream.

"Yes it is" Ashley seconded

"Who are they?" Camila ask the two.

"My God Camila where have you been? They are the "The Harmonizers", the hottest band in town, all of their albums where platinum labelled, their songs are always on the radios nationwide!" Dinah blurted out with hand gestures of quote and quote.

Camila got a confused look and continue to look at the group they are composed of five, two males and three females they are now sitting on a table, she grasp when she saw the girl on the center table directly looking at her and wink then starts conversation with her group.

"Wait a minute, did she just wink at you Camila" Ashley utter with an awe expression in her face.

"Yeah I saw that too" Dinah seconded.

Camila is so shock inside, she think she is palpitating, irregular heartbeat and sweat is forming in her temple.

"Guys your hallucinating I didnt know her" she said and smile awkwardly.

"Hey by the way what is the name of that girl on the center?" Camila ask.

"You mean the one who winks at you?" Dinah tease.

"Hey, Dinah stop It ok" Camila said pouting.

"I think our baby here is finally have a crush on someone, look Dinah she is blushing" Ashley teased.

"Stop It guys, who said I have a crush, Im just curious ok" she said defensively.

"Ok Mila your crush name is Lauren Jauregui she is the composer and obcourse the lead singer of the group". Dinah said.

"Are they new here? Why did I only see them now?" Camila ask confusion clearly on her face."

"Yeah your right Mila they just transfer this semester" Ashley said.

" I thought this school would not admit student at the middle of the year?" Camila blurted.

"That's right but we heard that one of them is closed to the admin". Both Dinah and Ashley said in unison.

"That explains It" Camila said.

"Anyway break time is almost over now lets get back to our classes" Dinah said while looking at her watch.

"Ok, see you guys" Ashley said.

"Ok see you too" Camila said.

Exactly when the bell rings Camila rush to the library.She forgot to mention that she is exempted to her next class as she had perfected her history class quiz last time. She is taking up BS Journalism course through college scholarship, since she had perfected the college entrance examination. Library is her favorite part of the school and needless to say a total book nerd. She sat on her favorite couch on the corner of the library, this is her favorite spot, quite, peaceful and with few students.

She get the unfinished book she was reading and become so engrossed on It. She didnt notice that one student sit accross the couch she is sitting in and so engrossed looking at her.

Lauren's POV

"Hmmm I didnt know that this dope girl is a booknerd too" Lauren said to herself smiling. She was mesmerized by the brown eyed girl from earlier. What is it about you that got me intrigued? She ask herself. I had to find out myself. She decided to teased the girl. I need to know her name first.

She walks to the Information counter of the library and ask the lady who is looking at her as If she is a sumptous food. She know that look very well.

" Hi Ms. Lyn" she said to the lady

" Yes what can I do for you Ms. Jauregui? " the lady ask.

"I had a favor to ask and by the way just call me Lauren" she said.

"Ok Lauren what can I do for you" the lady said.

"Do you happen to know the name of the girl on the couch sitting on the far right? " she ask pointing her finger to Camila.

The lady follow her vision and said "Oh, that's Camila, she Is always here that's why I know her name." The lady said.

"Hmm..Camila ..nice name It suits her" she said smiling.

" thanks Ms. Lyn" she said to the lady and walk away.
