"No! Daddy! Stop, I have to go help him!"
You finally woke up from your nightmare, breathing heavily. It's been 3 years since your dad died that day when the Colossal Titan showed up in Shiganshina. You also didn't know where your mother was. You woke up for your military training to join the Recon Corps. and to try and get your revenge from the titans.
~Time skip~
You made it. Keith Shardis, the trainee's instructor, started asking almost everyone why they signed up to be in the military. You said some because he skipped the ones who most likely saw hell a few years ago, you were one of the people he skipped. You saw one guy near you get asked and he said he was going to go to the military police, Jean Kirschtein. Then there was another, a bit farther away, was asked because he had the salute wrong, Connie Springer. Then there was a girl, Sasha Braus, got in trouble for eating a potato during that time. 'Do these people take the military seriously?!' you ask in yourself in your mind.
~Time skip~
You and the other trainees had to eat your dinner before you went to bed. You noticed almost everyone surrounding this one boy, he said his name was Eren Jaeger. You saw that when they asked what happened to him he covered his mouth, you knew that just like you he also saw how he titans ate people. The only way you survived was because you were very obedient and had the will to survive. when your father told you to run you followed that command and came back to try and help him but one of your father's friends, in the military, took you back to escape. When you saw Eren say he was going to get his revenge on the titans, Jean started to talk to him.
"At least I am an honest man. You won't see me trying to be the hero and actually sacred on the inside." Jean says.
"Are you trying to imply something?" Eren says, clearly pissed off.
They both get up from where they were sitting and come towards each other. Eren with a frown and Jean with a smile. A few seconds pass and Jean says something.
"Fine, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say something against your opinion. Let's call it even between us." He says, raising his hand as if to shake Eren's.
"Fine, I crossed the line a bit too." Eren replies. Then Eren slapped Jean's raised hand.
When that ended you immediately got up before they noticed that you were also from Shiganshina. Your hair was clearly different from other girls. Your hair color was (h/c) and it's length was (h/l). You walked across from Jean while he was still standing up, your hair flowed when you walked. Your hair clearly attracted Jean and he called you out.
"Hey, what's your name?" He asked.
"My name is (y/n)." You replied.
"Sorry to call you out like that but your hair is different from others and it looks beautiful." Jean said, embarrassed.
"Thanks." You replied.
You wanted to talk to the boy who said he wanted to kill all of the titans, Eren. You walked up to him and asked him a few questions. Jean saw you go up to Eren and wiped his belief in humanity on Connie's shirt (LOL!).
"Hey, Jaeger!" You yelled.
"Hm, whose that?" Eren turned around.
"What's your name?" Eren asked.
"My name is (f/n) (l/n) and I am from Shiganshina you said. Now can you properly introduce yourself?" You asked.
"I am Eren Jaeger, also from Shiganshina." Eren replied. 'This girl is also from Shiganshina?! I wonder if she got the worst of it too.' Eren thought.
"So, (f/n), what happened to you in Shiganshina?" Eren asked, trying not to be rude.
"My father was eaten by a titan." you said, clearly and calmly.
"Oh, same thing for me but it wasn't my father who died, it was my mother." Eren said, not as calm as you. 'Well it sucks to be either of us but how could she say one of her parents died with almost no emotion?' Eren thought. You saw a girl and a boy coming and so you walked away.
"Wait! Let me introduce you to my friends." Eren said to you. You walked back and Eren introduced you to them and they introduced themselves.
"Hello, my name is Armin Arlert, nice to meet you (y/n)." The blond boy said.
"My name is Mikasa Ackerman." the girl said.
~Time skip after you wonderful sleep~
It was time to practice on you 3D Maneuver Gear. and some of the people there were not as good on it as others. You were one of the people who got a perfect score easily. You watched some struggle. Then there was Eren. He was not even doing it properly and was hanging upside down. Eren got in trouble for not using it right and was yelled at. Eren was going to try again tomorrow.
~Time skip to tomorrow~
"Are you ready Eren?" Shardis asked.
"Yes!" Eren said, confidently.
Eren was starting again and was finally able to stay upright, then he went upside down again. Eren was brought down and was told to switch belts with Thomas. Eren tried again and this time there were no problems and he smiled.
"The fittings on your belt were broken, I didn't know that that was possible. There are no problems." Shardis said.
You smiled. He did it now he is probably happy that he wont get separated from his friends. Jean saw you smile after Eren passed, because he was looking at you, and he immediately felt jealous. 'Oh, this is war Jaeger!' Jean thought, competitively, and glared at Eren.
