“Emily!” Niall’s voice breaks me out of the trance I’d been in since I started walking back. His eyes were clouded with worry as he pulls me into a hug, Louis and Zayn right behind him.

“Are you ok?” Zayn says, Louis and him both looking relieved to have me back.

“Yah, I just needed to clear me head.” I say as Niall pulls away, taking my hand instead, as if he thought I would run away again.

“Why didn’t you answer our calls! We’ve been worried sick!” Louis scolds, and I look around the drama room, making sure no one had noticed the confrontation. Luckily, everyone was too caught up in their scripts, besides Liam and Harry. They were standing in the corner, talking with serious expressions.

“I left my phone at your house.” I shrug. “Don’t worry, I’m fine. Let’s just get to working on the scene. Zayn, what are you doing here?”

“Just wanted to be here when you got back, make sure you were ok and all. I better get to class.” He says, kissing my cheek before leaving the stage. Louis and I start walking to the other two, but Niall pulls me back.

“You had me worried sick. I thought something happened to you...” Niall trails off, looking extremely sad. “Never do that to me again.”

“I won’t, promise.” I say, kissing his cheek like they’d done to me so many times. “Now come on, lets go, everyone’s waiting for us.” I pull Niall along, the rest of the group still in their own little worlds. Liam and Harry were still talking, while Louis was pouting and glaring at Harry occasionally. “Ok everyone!” I say, everyone turning to me. I see Liam’s eyes dart down to Niall and I’s hands, which were still intertwined. “We need to have a skit decided and start memorizing our lines by the end of class, hopefully starting to film by next week. Any suggestions?”

“I actually wrote one.” Liam says, a slight blush on his cheeks as he pulls a packet out of his backpack. “I don’t know if it’s any good, but maybe...” I take it out of his hands, quickly skimming through it.

“I like it. Boys?” I hand it to them, letting them look it over. It’s olden day love story, where both a rich boy and a peasant fall for an aristocrats daughter. Since it had only three characters, it was perfect since we could have three actors, a director, and a camera man.

“I think it’s good. Obviously Emily’s the daughter, but what about the other characters?” Niall says, looking concerned as he glanced towards Harry.

“I defiantly want to act, since I’ve been in theater since I was six.” Louis says proudly.

“I want to direct. After all, it is my play.” Liam says, smiling. “As long as that’s okay with everyone.”

“Of course.” I say quickly.

“I took a filming class a few years back.” Niall shrugs. “I still remember most of it.”

“I guess that means I’m acting.” Harry says, standing up a little straighter, Niall and Louis shooting him a glare but saying nothing.

“Ok, now that that’s settled.” I say, trying to break the awkwardness. “We need to start learning lines. Liam, do you have anymore scripts?”

“No, but I can bring some tomorrow.”

“Alright, we can share for today. Will you and Niall go talk with Mr.Brown and let him know we decided on out skit, then check out the camera and stuff?” They both nod, Niall giving Louis a look. Louis nods, them both having a silent conversation before Liam nudges Niall and they head off.

“Well then, let’s get started.” I say, sitting on the floor. Louis and Harry take seats on either side of me. “I guess I’ll be Macy. Louis, you want to be the Jake, the peasant, or Leonard, the rich one?”

“Leonard. I’ll look good in diamonds.” He grins, winking at me.

“You ok with being Jake, Harry?” He nods, not looking me in the eye. “Ok, lets read through it.” The script is ten pages long, so it will be about twenty minutes of film. There our five scenes, the first when Macy meets Leonard when she delivers silk to his family for her father. After being intrigued, he asks her on a date, which she accepts. The next scene, she visits the dress shop Jake works at, his families business. Her father had given her just enough for the dress, wanting her to make a good impression with the rich family. Jake takes a liking to her, but could never admit it as she was of a higher statues. The third scene is the night before the dinner date, where Macy can’t stop thinking about Jake and tries convince herself Lenard is the one for her. The fourth scene is the date, in which Macy realizes how big of a jerk Leonard is. While in the bathroom, she discovers a note in her dress where Jake confesses his feelings for her. She runs out to find him, which leads to the last scene of them realizing their meant for one another and start a happy ever after. Harry and I were reading through the last few lines.

“Macy, I can’t imagine being without you. I may not be able to be give you jewels, fancy dresses, or horses like Leonard, but I can promise to give you my heart.”

“That’s all I would ever want.” I say, reading the last line in the script.

Kiss.

“You guys have to kiss!” Louis gasps.

“What!” Niall yells, Liam behind him with the camera in hand, an unreadable expression on his face. What had I gotten myself into?
