***SIDE NOTE***
Everything that I've written so far is supposed to be happening simultaneously with what is already in the UOAT series. I'm trying to match up some events without OVER explaining or replicating dialogue from the show (ex. A reference to Rumplestiltskin not being able to obtain a baby). There is going to be a time hop in the next chapter that will begin with the trip to Neverland to save Henry.

Thank you for all the reads on my first OUAT fanfic!
Don't forget to vote or leave a comment if you have any suggestions or thoughts!! :)

This is a Rumplestiltskin fanfic, that being said, please message me with the name of who you think he should end up with: Eilonwy or Belle?

Once Regina left, Mr. Gold moved to find the case that held Eilonwy's sword. He locked up his shop and returned to his home, hoping to find her there, "Eilonwy!" He called to her loudly, but received no response, "You may not be here, dearie, but I know you can here me!"

She appeared behind him and watched as he slowly turned around, "Don't let jealousy turn you dark, princess," he said to her as politely as he could, her deep eyes glaring at him.

She took the case that held her sword and walked into the kitchen, placing it on the table, "I have no reason to be jealous," she said as she gazed over her sword, closing the case before turning to find the taller man leaning against the sink. Her eyes moved down his body and back to his eyes quickly before she stepped towards him, taking his hand in hers and moving against him, "A wise man once told me to choose my battles carefully, and, this time, I'm willing to fight for what's mine."

His eyes moved to look down at her lips and she slightly tilted her chin up to him, waiting. His fingers moved to gently rub the side of her face. He inched closer to her, his eyes trapped in hers. His fingers weaved through her hair and he held her head, slowly moving towards her lips.

She pulled her head back far enough to avoid his kiss, "but I'm not your toy, Rumple." His eyes dropped and she placed her lips only centimeters away, "You can have my kiss when I know that I have your heart." She whispered to him with a smile, "I'll see myself out."

He walked to his bedroom and grabbed the comforter from the floor, throwing it back onto his bed with force. He moved forward to find his clothes scattered around the floor. He kicked it towards the bed and hesitantly moved to make the bed look presentable, thinking about the moments he made in that bed the night before. He shut his eyes and fell back onto his bed as a single tear rolled down his cheek.

"I know your here, princess," I called as I sat up in my bed, sensing that the beautiful girl was in the room with me, "You can't hide from me."

"I'm so lucky to have you, Rumple," Belle said happily as she strolled into my bedroom, ignoring the clothes that had been scattered around the floor. Her hands were held behind her back, a genuine smile playing on her beautiful lips. She gently pushed me onto my back and crawled over my lap, a smirk tugging at her perfect smile, "You think I don't know, but I do," she said softly, inching closer to my lips, her beautiful eyes locked on mine, "I know why you can't choose me." She lightly kissed my lips and began to unbutton my shirt, making chills run through my body as her nails lightly scratched against my chest.

I couldn't move, frozen in place as she pulled my shirt from my shoulders, kissing my collar bone lightly, "Is this what you want?" She asked with a smirk, her lips working magic

"Why do you think I haven't chosen?" I asked her, shaking in my skin as her hands moved to hold the waist band of my tight pants.

"This!" She said forcefully, a devilish smile forming on her lips as Eilonwy's sword appeared in her hands, "It killed the dark king with one hit, just imagine what damage it could do to you." She pointed the blade at my heart and I froze in my place once again, unable to move from beneath the beautiful brunette as she stabbed the sword into my chest.

He gasped for air and gripped his heart as his eyes shot open. He coughed, and held his chest tightly, looking around the room to see that he was alone. He sat up to catch his breath, thinking back over the nightmare as someone knocked at his front door.

He forced himself to his feet and grabbed his cane, hobbling towards the front door to find Belle at his doorstep, "Is Eilonwy here?" She asked as he stepped back, allowing her into the house.

"You just missed her," he answered and met her dark eyes, "did something happen?"

She nodded and stepped toward him, pressing her lips against him and pulling his body against her. He searched her eyes for a moment and he shut the front door, pulling her  thin waist back against him and crashing his lips into hers. They moved into the living room. Rumple fell onto the couch and Belle moved over him, straddling his lap, "Is this what you want?" She asked him quickly, kissing him once more as they began to move together.

He shut his eyes, moving with her through the kiss as she pressed her body against his, controlling the motions, "Belle," he said to her and she moved to lightly kiss his neck. He said her name again and she stopped, "This isn't you," he told her and she turned to look away, "You deserve more than this."

"I don't understand, Rumple," she pleaded, moving off of his lap, "What does she have that I don't? Magic?" He hesitated in answering and she snapped to look at him, "Is that it then? You're choosing magic again!"

"I can't choose between two people whom I love," he said a bit roughly and pushed himself off of the couch, grabbing his cane to pace around the room, "Belle, I thought you were dead for three years before the curse hit! Thirty one years in total! How am I supposed to resume my life as if you never left me?"

"I didn't leave you," she told him with sorrow in her eyes, "I was taken away from you."

"And I moved on," he told her sadly and her face immediately fell.

"You're right," he reached to her as she stood up, collecting herself, "I should never have come here!" She said forcefully and he grabbed her arm to turn her around.

"That doesn't mean I don't love you, Belle," he locked his eyes on her, and she pulled away, "I never stopped loving you!" He shouted frantically, pulling her against him and kissing her. He had tears in his eyes when he finally pulled away, "But I can't choose between the love I lost thirty one years ago and my love that I've fought so hard to connect with over the last twenty-eight years."
