Chapter 7 The Gathering

Swiftpaws POV

The sun rose high from the mountains,Magicstrom and Swiftpaw were training in the moorlands."Alright Swiftpaw Attack me"Magicstrom meowed firmly,Swiftpaw narrowed his eyebrow then quickly launced himself to magicstrom but he quickly dodged it.Swiftpaw rose to his paws"I cant knock him he s too big beside i have to stand my ground"he meowed to himself.He ran and bit Magicstroms tail which made swiftpaw fall down,on his back,Magicstrom lauched himself to Swiftpaw,but he swiftly dodged it and bit into his neck and knocked him over.

"Well Done,you ll be a great warrior" Magicstrom meowed proudly,"Come on,lets hunt"meowed Magicstrom,"Do you smell anything "tested Magicstrom.Swiftpaw tasted the air there was a fresh trail of rabbits but there was an unfamliar scent Thunderclan! And Shadowclan.

"Thunderclan and shadowclan are stealing our prey"gasped Swiftpaw,Magicstrom tasted the air,"You re right let s tell Swiftstar,she have to ask the other leader about this in the gathering"meowed Magicstrom.Magicstrom was right the gathering was today,and if they did steal our prey they have another thing coming.

"We need more evidence"Meowed Swiftpaw,"Just the scent of them isnt enough proof" meowed Swiftpaw firmly.

"Look"Meowed Mahicstrom pointing with his tail it was a dead rabbit fur with the scents of Shadowclan and "Another one but this has the scent of Thunderclan"rasped Magicstrom.If thunderclan and Shadowclan are really stealing prey then they will regret it.

"Lets go we have enough evidence to prove as ran to the camp.Swiftpaw finally caught up with him,and went into the windclan camp.

"Swiftstar I need to speak with you"meowed Magicstrom proudly,"Swiftpaw scented out Shadowclan and Thunderclan cats stealing our prey,there were a dead rabbit and fur and also bones of it"Meowed magicstrom.

"Magicstrom lead a hunting patrol to where you found the rabbit

,I must make sure they really were stealing prey from us and if they did I will sent a battle patrol"She meowed.

Magicstrom nodded and fetched Icepool,Goldtail,spottedtail and Patchfoot and they headed off to where the Rabbits were.When they came came they told Swiftstar that it was true they are stealing prey from us.

Swiftstar was getting ready to lead the patrol to the gathering,Today is the first day Swiftpaw ever went to the gathering.

When they made it Swiftpaw saw alot of cats,he saw Goldenfur,Magicstrom told him that they were friends for 4 years(in the human world i think) he was popular in all the clans.

He saw Flufflyclaw the shadowclan deputy his chocolate colored fur was thick and he knew that he was a wild Bacca cat.

Swiftpaw sat next to Bluepaw(Slamacow) and meowed"This is so cool i never saw this much warriors before"meowed Swiftpaw,"You re right " meowed Bluepaw as he paddded to Batpaw.

Swiftpaw begun the gathering,"Darkstar my warriors found out that you and Bronzestar are stealing prey from windclan!"she hissed.Windclan growled and hissed at shadowclan and thunderclan while they hissed back.Darkstar was quiet he was looking at his paws,"So what if we did shadowclan s prey is infected by the twolegs smoke"he growled."Thunderclan did t steal any prey from windcaln maybe your warriors sences are as bad as a blind badger!"Bronzestar hissed.

Swiftpaw saw that Magicstrom was looking at Bronzestar his claws digging up the earth,as he hissed and growled at the thunderclan leader.Swiftpaw was also angry he was the first to find the rabbits.

The leaders and clan s were fighting and arguing with eachother

But why wasnt starclan angry? Swiftpaw thought was this suppose to happen? He wondered.

"How dare you Bronzestar insult my warriors and do you think we re lying"she hissed at him her teeth snarling at him."Yes i do unlike your Windclan warriors my Thunderclan cats never lie to me"he growled.

Wavestar was looking unpleased,but she rose in defense for WindClan and meowed"Shadowclan also stole prey from riverclan and thunderclan were taking our terrioty".

"Fine, If there cant be Peace then there will be War " Bronzestar announced,"Fine me and Swiftstar will allie eachother while Thunderclan and shadowclan allied"Wavestar annunced.

Swiftpaw knew that Swiftstar and Wavestar were sisters thats why she defended her sister.
