Oh my gosh. What am I doing? I can't believe what just happened.

I'm in bed with William! I never would've imagined this. I've dreamed of kissing him but it never had gotten this far.

I gotta say though, it was amazing. I have no idea what's wrong with me.

I look at the clock. It's almost 1:00 in the morning. I hear something moving around the stairs.

I quietly slip out of bed so I don't wake William up and head down. I see shadows moving. I turn the corner and let me tell ya something, I've never been scared of the doctors' office before, even when I was a little kid; but these guys looked scary. I have no idea who they are or why they're breaking into my house; but before I could ask questions, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and my vision blackened. The floor was coming up so fast it made me dizzy as I fell.

                                                                                 ***

I woke up in the cold. I am in complete darkness. I sit up and knock my head into something hard. I lay back down and feel all around me; having barely enough room to stretch out my arms and legs. It's like I'm in my own cocoon. I want to scream but I know it won't do any good. Voices are speaking in hushed tones nearby.

"Hey! Let me out of here!" I say.

The voices stop. I hear someone whisper and feet shuffling away.

"Hey, I said let me out of here." I yell.

A wall opens up on my right side and I am blinded by light. It takes a few moments for my eyes to adjust but when they do, I nearly scream. What I see in front of me can't possibly be human. It's face is all mangled and has bits and pieces of hair sticking out here and there. It reminds me of the Nemesis from the Resident Evil movie.

"How do you do milady?" He says.

He reaches his hand out and I grasp it. He helps me out of what I assume will become my future grave.

   "Who are you?" I ask.

"Now's not a time for asking me questions my dear child." He replies. "Do you remember anything from the past 24 hours?"

"Yes." I reply. I am not gonna show that I am afraid of this man.

   "Good." He says.

He takes me inside an examining room. There's tools lying everywhere; some with blood on them. I cringe.

   "Lie down here madam."

He guides me to the operation bed. More like a table. It's just a slab of cold steel.

I lay down, watch him walk out the room and close the door.

In about three seconds, I am bound to the table. Steel clamps circle my wrists, feet and stomach. All the lights go out except one that is directly over my face.  A man comes out from the shadows. This one seems normal; in fact he's quite handsome in a way. He leans forward.

"It's gonna be okay." He whispers in my ear.

He runs his hand in between my legs and up to my breast. My muscles tighten.

He pulls some type of drill out from behind the light and puts something up my nose. It smells weird, but as I start to inhale I know what it is doing to me.

"Please don't do this." I breathe.

   "It's practically already done."

I turn my head and see William. Was he apart of this the whole time?

"How could you?" I said. My words barely a whisper.

"It's not like I wanted to. I tried to stop them. They said they'll let me see you right before the operation." He replied. He glared at the man standing next to me. The one who had touched me and told me it's gonna be okay.

   "What operation?" I ask.

He came out from the darkness and I could see him clearer. There are bruises and cuts on his face. Tears streaked his cheeks, showing through the dirt.

"They said you may not survive, unless you have a strong enough will. He believes in some sort of magical time force of some sort and he needs something from you."

He came up to me and gave me a brief kiss.

"You have to fight it Juliet. I love you." He whispered in my ear.

I felt myself drifting into a deep sleep as I caught my breath at  his words.

Two guys came in and pulled him away. He struggled beneath them and started throwing fists. One of them punched him in the gut.

   "I'm sorry!" He yelled.

One of the guys punched him in the face and he was out cold. My vision started to darken and the last thing I saw was the man who looked inhuman.

I took William's "I love you" words hard and kept them close to my heart. Last thing I heard was the drill starting. I pulled at my wrists, but felt so weak. I finally fell into a hard sleep.
