Cathrine and I finally made it to the car as she throws me inside. The look of her face as she continued to look out of the window had me puzzled. She then signed as she sat back and told the driver to get us home. She faked a smile as she looked at me with a "happy" face. I knew she was hiding something. What was it that made us have to leave like that? Was it something she smelled? Being with vampires for a good few days, I have found out something things about them that society has not foretold about. Like how they have such good hearing and how they can smell things that normal people cant. Strange when you think about it, as much as werewolves and vampires are suppose to be enemies, they act very similar. I didn't want to intrude on Cathrine's "happy" moment...wait...yes I did.

"What was that all about?" I asked folding my arms in front of me.

"Oh nothing...I-I forgot something back at home. That I left on. Haha stupid me."

"Forgot something on back at home huh? You can tell that by sniffing around the mall?" I continued to let her sink herself deeper into her lie.

She looked at me with a look that I could tell she wanted me to just drop but if she wanted this friendship to work, vampire or otherwise, she was going to have to learn I had a no bullshit policy. I stared back at her with a blank face showing her I didn't believe her lies.

"Okay well since we want to go down lying avenue then maybe ill tell Jack all about Calvin and how you approve of our friendship."

Cathrine's eyes shot red as I could tell she wanted to leap out of her seat and choke the crap out of me but she stayed still gripping the arm rest on the door. Her fingernails had already embedded into the fabric and a very low hiss could be heard.

"You see..." I started. "I can lie like horse crap too."

"If you say one word about that boy to Jack. I'll-"

"You'll what?"

Cathrine's rage was steaming out of her face and her ears. I knew I was not going to say a word about Calvin but she let her emotions of what just happened cloud her judgement. She dragged her nails out of the arm rest and mimicked my position by folding her arms. Her breaths cause her arms to move back and forth. Jesus, she really has no control of her anger.

I sighed not wanting to play this game anymore. It was fun with Karry cause I knew nothing bad would come out of it. She would call me a bitch and I'd call her a slut and we'd fess up to the lies. "Cathrine. I'm not going to say anything about him to Jack. You think I want to be stuck in that house while the rest of you get to leave? I said it cause I know you're lying to me. I hate lies. Especially from my friends."

"Your friends?"

"Yes. My friends. You are the only one I have right now other than Calvin that I can turn to. My dad was an asshat and your lover and Jack destroyed the only other place that I had called home. They killed my friend and her family. I have no one other than you two."

"You have Jack." She pressures me to acknowledge him.

"He killed Karry right in front of me! I have nothing but hatred and anger towards Jack and there is nothing you can say to make me change my mind."

Cathrine's shocked expression from my outburst  fills her face but slowly slips as seconds of silence fills the car. We stayed quite for a little bit. I stared out of the window not caring if my so called friend wanted to fess up.

"I smelled Calvin and his friends at the food court that was right across from where we were and I wanted to get you out of there before he saw us." Cathrine finally confessed.
