we're reliable with the ladies | two

 I woke up and rushed to get my bathroom and turned on my curling iron to curl my hair. I walked to my closet and opened my door grabbing a flannel dress with a scarf and tan booties. I went back to my bathroom and began curling my hair. I finish my look with a bit of make-up and looked at myself in my mirror, Is there a reason I'm dressing so... not me? Probably not! okay, I might be lying. 

 I grabbed my purse and keys then left my apartment getting in my car and heading to the studio. I parked my car then walked into the studio going to the coffee machine putting in a container of salted caramel coffee. I waited for the coffee to finish and went into the lounge to sit on one of the rolly chairs. I checked my phone realizing it was early and no one was going to be at the theater until an hour or two, that means I have the whole theater to myself! (a/n why does it translate to 'theater?' theater is the proper way tbh)

 I heard the door open and I tiptoed to the door and looked through the peephole seeing Jasmine on her phone. I breathe out relieved. "Ashland!!" Jasmine yelled and ran to me. "Hi Jazzy," I laughed. "Who's got you dressing all cute?" She raised an eyebrow and winked. "No one!" I said quickly. She rolled her eyes and went to her dressing room with me following her like a lost puppy not knowing where else to go. "So how was your date with Lin?" She winked. "Jasmine!!!" I yelled at her and hid my face in my hair blushing. "It wasn't a date!" I whisper-shouted even though no one was in the building. "That's not what I heard," she winked at me and continued to do her hair and make-up. I impatiently tap my nails against the chair and heard the door open along with two voices singing, "we're reliable with the ladies" Lin and Leslie yell. They continue to sing the rest the song while Jazzy and I just sat in her dressing room giggling silently. When they finished Jasmine and I sang the beginning of Helpless, thinking they couldn't hear (or see) us. "Oooohhh, I do I do I do!" We ended up screaming and I spun on the chair as we ended up singing way more. "Boooyyy you got me"

"I have never been the type to try and grab the spotlight We were at a revel with some rebels on a hot night Laughin' at my sister as she's dazzling the room Then you walked in and my heart went "Boom!" I screamed and jumped off the chair. I turn around seeing Lin and Leslie at the door, Lin staring at me in shock, amazement or things I can't understand or know. "Woah, I didn't know you could sing so well.." He said in shock. It felt like no one was in the room. Wait! Where was Leslie and Jas- oh those sneaky people... "Well, I came here early because there's some um.. news." He said looking at his shoes. "Phillipa is well... pregnant. (a/n im sorry, do u want me to kill her?) "And?" I smile lightly looking straight at him. "I-i was wondering if you would like to fulfill her role?" he asked looking up at me with a slight smile. I nod and ran up to him and hugged him. "Yes!"I squealed and then he wrapped his arms around me, lower than I thought he would but I brushed it off. (a/n liN u innocent soul!!)

"I'll tell the rest of the cast when they get here." He said then left me, helpless (a/n but at least she's satisfied, okie im sorry bad jokes)

 I rushed to Jasmine and screamed, "Lin just filled me in for Eliza!" Jasmine gasped and hugged me tight. Then she winked at me, "Looks like you get to kiss your longtime crush!" oh shit.

three hours later of practicing and everything I felt ready for my first show.

I swear if I mess up, I blame life. The theater began to fill up with a diversity of people and the opening song began. I waited for my part then walked on stage

Two years later, see Alex and his mother bed-ridden
Half-dead sittin' in their own sick, the scent thick" I put my hands on his shoulders causing him to relax then I walked backstage and spot Renee. She immediately hugged me "You did great!" I smiled and hugged her back. "Now let's go show them what the Schuyler Sisters are about!"

The Story of Tonight ended and we started my FAVORITE scene.

"Angelica" Renee sang.

"Eliza" I continued.

"and Peggy!" Jazzy butted in.

"Angelica."

"Peggy."

"Eliza!"

"Work!"

We ended the song afterward and I went backstage preparing for my solo.
