"when you speak in english, you need to put your..."

put your accent away, blah, blah.. she tells us that word for at least a hundred times a day. i'm not even kidding. ugh. i need sleep. my eyes slowly blinked and started to feel heavier and heavier...

"ms. choi!" my eyes shot open and i stood up. "y-yes m'am..?" i asked. "keep your eyes open and listen." mrs. kim, our teacher, said. "uhh.. yes m'am.. sorry.." i said and kept my head down. "okay, sit down." she said and i followed.

okay, so i didn't get sleep last night. kind of the reason why i'm like this right now. i sighed and pinched myself to stay awake.

"class dismissed." mrs. kim said and the bell rang a few seconds after she said that. i stood up and packed up my stuff and placed them inside my backpack.

"youngjin-ah, are you okay? you never fell asleep in class before as long as i remembered.." hyejin said. "i didn't get any sleep. i was busy helping my mom in the restaurant." i said and yawned.

behind hyejin, i saw two pairs of eyes looking at us but then turned away and walked out of the classroom. "you should learn how to sleep early.. anyways, c'mon! let's have lunch!" she said and smiled. i nodded and grabbed my bag.

"let's go~" she said and we both walked out of the classroom. we went to the rooftop of our school and sat in the ground.

it's our usual lunch place. we eat in the cafeteria sometimes, but we prefer not to eat in a crowded place. "and then this guy in my class laugh and snorted in fron-" hyejin stopped talking when we heard the door of the rooftop open.

"this seems like a quiet place to eat. what'd you guys think?" it was a guy's voice. "hey, youngjin, aren't we the only ones who always come up here?" hyejin asked and i nodded. "wait, that guy is in my music class.." i said.

"who?" she asked. i pointed at the guy with the white backpack and headphones around his neck. "oh! that guy! i always see him walking in the hallways.." hyejin said. "wait a sec, that guy! the small, black hair guy! he's the guy i'm telling you that snorted while laughing!" hyejin said and laughed.

i chuckled and we quietly watched the seven boys. "hyung.. did you hear that?" a black colored hair guy said. "should we go..?" hyejin asked.

we continued to eavesdrop and listened to their conversation. "you're hearing stuff, yugyeom.." a guy with a silver colored hair said. "no i'm not! it sounds like there's someone else who's here too! listen!" we closed our mouths and laughed quietly.

they became quiet too, but no noises were made from us. the guy who's in my music class, stood up and walked up to our direction.

we were sitting behind a wall so we weren't actually facing them. "yah, what are you doing here?" he asked us. "eating obviously. can't you tell?" hyejin said. i nudged her by her stomach and she stayed quiet.

"wait, aren't you in my music class?" he asked and pointed at me. "uhh.. yeah." i said. i forgot his name. oops.

he rolled his eyes and sighed. "it's just two girls, yugyeom." he said and walked back to his group of friends. "can you not be sassy with boys?" i said to hyejin. "hey! why blame me?" she asked. "whatever. just finish your food and let's go.." i said.

after she finished eating, we both stood up and walked to the door. seven pairs of eyes watched us but we ignored them and shut the door.

"i think we should find some other place to eat instead." hyejin said.
