"okay, class! so today, i'll be letting you guys know who you're partnered up with!" ms. park said cheerfully. she went on with all our classmates names, but my name still wasn't called. i looked behind and saw youngjae staring at me from a couple of seats away.
i laughed and jokingly glared at him. "youngjin!" ms. park shouted. i looked at her and she was still holding a piece of paper. "you'll be paired up with youngjae!" she said. i smiled and nodded.
i turned to youngjae and he was smiling too. after that, class went on. the bell rang after class time, and ms. park called me and youngjae to her desk.
"youngjn-ah, you said last week, that you'll make it up to me this week. why did you two leave, anyways?" she asked. we both looked at each other but i turned back at ms. park. "i had to help my mom with something at home.." i said.
"me too.. but with my dad." youngjae said. she nodded and turned to the both of us. "uhm, ms. park, is it alright even if i'm done doing the punishment, that youngjae and i can still come here after school? just so we can practice on the song we have to do.." i said.
"yes, of course. you two are always welcome here." she said with a smile. "and don't worry youngjin, your punishment is done." she said and i smiled widely. "ah, thank you!" i said and bowed.
"okay, i guess i'll see you two later?" she said and we both nodded. "we'll go now." youngjae said and we walked out of the music room.
"oh, you seem to be really happy, hm?" he said and i smiled even wider. "of course i am.. you are my partner after all.." i said with a cheeky smile. "aww, you really do love me~" he teased. "aish.." i bumped his arm.
"you're still annoying." i mumbled. he placed his arm around my shoulder and brought me closer to him. "can i ask you something?" he said. "yeah." i answered. "is it okay with you if we become.. official?" he asked.
we both stopped walking and he took off his arm off my shoulder. "official?" i asked and he nodded with a smile. "am i rushing..?" he asked and i shook my head with a laugh. "i'll be glad to be called your girlfriend." i said.
"so.. i can officially call you mine, right?" he asked and i chuckled. "you're so cute." i said. i kissed his cheek and grabbed his hand, intertwining them together. "let's go, we'll be late for class." i said.
