12:21 p.m

i turned around and saw two familiar looking boys. yes, they were youngjae's friends. "what the- where did you idiots come from?! wait, were you recording that?!" i shouted as i stood up from my spot.

"yah jackson wang!" hyejin shouted. she stood up from her spot and walked up to him and grabbed him by his collar.

yeah, if it's one thing i need to look out for with hyejin, it's her anger problems. pfft, and she says i'm the one with issues.

"you better delete that video this instant!" hyejin shouted. the other boy stood blankly behind jackson. i looked at him and he looked away. "who are you?" i asked. "kim yugyeom." he said.

i sighed and looked down with both my fingers in my forehead. "okay, listen you two. i don't like youngjae, alright?" i said. "uhm.." jackson mumbled. hyejin still had her grip in his collar. she rolled her eyes and pushed him to the wall.

"do you want to die?! huh?!" she shouted. yugyeom had his mouth open, shocked. he looked at me and i glared at him. "do you want to die too?" i asked.

he immediately shook his head. i walked up to hyejin and slowly pulled her away from jackson. "if you tell anyone, you're dead." i said coldly. "y-yeah..." he stuttered. "w-wait, so you don't like him..?" he asked.

"i don't! now you better delete that video!" i shouted. "aish, fine." he said. hyejin took his phone and deleted the video. "done." she said.

i grabbed my backpack and hyejin's and i gave it to her. "aish, i can't believe i had to deal with those two idiots." hyejin muttered. we left the rooftop and left the two of them there. "thanks, hyejin." i said.

"that's nothing. i've been wanting to punch that idiot anyways, since he kept being annoying at class." she said and i chuckled. "haha, as expected." i said.

few hours had passed, it was the end of the day, and of course, i had to go to the music room. i made my way there and saw the door to the music room was already open. youngjae was probably there already.

i peeked through the door window and i was right. he was there. he was playing the piano and a very familiar piece. yiruma's river flows in you.

i stepped in and he stopped playing when he met eyes with me. "oh, you're here?" he asked and i nodded. i placed my backpack down and grabbed the same broom i used yesterday.

after a few sweeps, i started fixing the desks. there wasn't a lot of mess today, than yesterday, i guess. i looked over to youngjae who was still sitting by the piano. he was just sitting there, on his phone.

it won't be rude to start a conversation with him right? "have you always been a music prodigy?" i asked. he looked up at me for a second and looked back at his phone again.

"yeah." he mumbled.

that's all i get? a "yeah"? geez, here i am trying to conversate with him, and all he gives me is a yeah! i shook my head and continued sweeping.

after some time, i finished cleaning the room. the desks and chairs were already arranged properly and the floor is clean. yup, i'm done. "so.." i managed to say. "you done?" he asked and i nodded.

he sighed and he looked back at me. "okay. come here." he said. i walked up to him and he patted the other side of the bench, signalling me to seat beside him. i hesitantly sat beside him. i didn't sit too close, okay?

i sat by the corner of the bench. god, please don't let me fall, okay? thanks. "can you play the piano?" he asked. "a little bit." i said. "let me guess, you can only play twinkle star?" he asked.

what the- how did he know? "how'd you know?" i asked and he scoffed. "all beginners starts from that song." he said as he actually made eye contact with me. "can you read notes?" he asked. "no." i answered.

he picked up his backpack and grabbed a notebook. "here." he said. "what's this?" i asked. "when i started learning the piano, i listed everything i need to know down there." he said. "i'm only lending it to you. don't lose it." he said.

i took the notebook from him and slowly opened it. "sorry, but i have to go again today." he said.  "wait, you're leaving again?" i asked. "i have to meet up with my dad so i can't stay for long." he said.

he slinged his bag on his shoulder and walked to the door. "wait! youngjae!" i called. hm, that felt weird. it was the first time i actually said his name. he stopped and turned around.

"your friend.. j-jackson.. did he say anything to you?" i asked, trying not to make anything obvious. he scoffed and a smirk came up on his face.

"yeah, he said you like me." he said. my eyes grew big and my mouth hanged open. "what-?! n-no i don't!" i shouted. he chuckled. "take a joke, will you?" he said. "is that all you're asking? okay, i'm leaving then." he said and walked out of the door.

aish! i hate him. i sighed and groaned. "that's it, i'm leaving." i mumbled. i grabbed my stuff and youngjae's notebook. i walked out of the room and locked the door.

i slinged my backpack on my shoulder and made my way out of the school. when i got out of the building, i started to make my way home. in my hand, i still had his notebook. if i burn this notebook and throw it, will he get mad at me?

huh, yeah he will. nevermind. i sighed. i took out my phone and plugged in my headphones and shuffled my playlist as i continued to walk.

it was already 3:51 p.m and i finally got home. i opened the door and went inside my house. "eomma!" i called.
