Anna

I was dizzy and my mouth was so dry it felt like a desert. The boy looked at me, concerned.

"Muu go fetch her a meal and some water, you starved the poor princess to death!" The blue eyed boy ordered.

Once Muu left the boy smiled at me.

"I guess it's never too late for introductions! I am Titus Alexius. It's a pleasure to finally meet you princess." He introduced himself, yet I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I was just kidnapped.

"(y/n)." I absent mindedly introduced myself.

"Oh, your poor voice! We'll get you better in no time, I assure you princess!" He said cheerfully, standing up.

I had no reaction, I was thinking about how I'd escape. I was getting irritated with myself.

Why couldn't you just say no! Becoming a princess was a terrible idea! All people are interested in is your title, or your body! This is horrible! I can't let my guard down for one second!

I balled up my fists and squeezed my eyes shut.

"Princess?" I could hear Titus ask, but I slumped back into the bed and laid my head on the plush pillow, shutting my eyes.

"I'll tell you when your food is here." I could hear him say.

To be honest, I wasn't tired, I was rather awake, but my lack of food and water had left me weak, but I can't say I'm not used to it.

Once the food arrived I was surprisingly too weak to hold a spoon properly or use my motor skills. I felt stupid and childish.

Titus ended up forcing me to let him feed me. I was fed probably the best soup I'd ever eaten along with icy cold water. Once I was full I shunned Titus.

He seemed nice, but I can't trust anyone at the moment. I just needed some time to be alone with my thoughts. I could hear Titus clean up the bowl and cup and leave the room.

Sitting up I rested my weight on the back board of the bed, letting out a long sigh.

What has my life come to...

"(y/n)."

Anna?!

I have to be hallucinating.

Shaking my head I stared at the ceiling.

"(y/n)!"

There it is again!

"Anna?!" I called, finding myself in tears now.

"(y/n)!" I heard her cry.

"Anna!" I cried.

I notice people the room swirl. Bracing myself on the bed I squeezed my eyes shut.

It's okay! You're fine! Its just lack of food, that's all.

Opening my eyes I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I was in the field that Anna and I used to play in! Turning I saw-

"Anna!" I cried, wrapping my arms around her small five year old body, only to notice I was five as well.

"(y/n) you got that far away look in your eyes again, what happened? Did you see the future again?"

Then it hit me. How could I have forgotten?!

Breaking from the hug I looked at Anna, but before I could say anything Anna looked towards our village, eyes filled with fear.

"What's that?" Anna asked nervously. 

I looked at our village, black smoke was rising. Grabbing Anna's hand I looked her in the eyes.

"Anna we have to leave." I told her, she shook her head.

"No! No! No! We have to go back and save our parents!" She started to cry.

Pulling her into another hug I patted her back.

"Anna if we don't leave now you're going to die." I told her, I felt her stiffen.

"Did you see me die in the future?" She asked quietly.

I nodded, starting to cry as well, remembering.

"Okay. Let's go. You and me." She looked at me, smiling, tears still in her eyes.

I smiled and nodded.

"You and me." I said.

"Forever and ever."

It was sunny and warm the day me and my bestest friend in the entire world, Anna, ran away from our village.

Anna looked like me, she had pink eyes and pink hair too. Mine was knotted though, always up in a little yellow bow. Hers was short and always in two piggy tails.

We stomped our feet, making large holes where we stomped. Running far from our raided town we held hands, promising ourselves to never let go.

I promised Anna a safe life away from bad people and Anna promised me to always be by my side.
