Violet's P.O.V.
"Am I allowed to look at her like that?
How could it be wrong when she's just so nice to look at?"
I lay down on the soft grass which I remember from when I was three and Kai and I would come here and watch the clouds. When we were small our parents would bring us and we would have the most stupid conversations, but as we've grown up, we come alone and have more serious conversations.
I shove my headphones in and turn my ipod up to full volume to try and drown out my thoughts. God, why did he say that to me today? The day before finals. I don't even know if we're friends anymore. I just hope he doesn't come here too. We both come here when we're sad. I need some time to be alone. Kai doesn't understand that it's hard for me to decide. He has girls falling over themselves for him. He annoys me sometimes because everyone likes him; he thinks he is the centre of the universe and he can date anyone he wants to. He can't. He wants to date me. I don't think of him like that, he is my best friend for god's sake! I just don't know what to do. I wish Mom was still here. She would've known what to do...
