Unexpected Silver

Chapter 3

Pulling up to the school, I notice a crowd of people standing in the parking lot, instead of being in class where they should be. Confused, I park my car and get out. As I'm walking up to the crowd I hear the shouting and growling and hurriedly go over to where the commotion is coming from. As I am approaching, I catch the familiar rotten smell we were taught to despise. Rouges. What the hell are they doing on my land?? I push my way to the middle of the circle, and let out a menacing growl.

I can see the rouge struggling under my brothers grip, and a feeling of pride arises. As I take in the scene in front of me, I can feel my canines throbbing. The rouge who was now under my brother, struggling for air as Jayden had his hand around his throat, had put up a damn good fight. I can see the blood seeping through Jayden's shirt, where the rouge had obviously raked his claws down his chest. Having enough of what was occurring in front of me, I decided to make my presence known to the two fighting wolves. Everyone else had already noticed my presence, and cleared a path for me bowing their heads as I walked by. Showing respect to the Alpha family was required in our pack, we take that moral very seriously.

"What the hell is going on here? Why is there a rouge on my land?!" As a spoke, the power radiating from my voice shook the ground. Satisfied when I saw both wolves stop in their tracks, I step forward to assess the situation more clearly.

As I take in the damage my brother did to the rouge, I feel my heart swell. My father and I have trained him good.

"Jayden, let go and stand up. NOW!" As he stands up, I keep my eyes on the mutt laying on the ground making sure he makes no sudden moves.

"GET UP MUTT. And do not pull any tricks, or you will be dead within seconds. That's a promise." I made sure to use my alpha tone, to ensure that the rouge knew I was being dead serious. Smirking as I saw him shaking as he stood up, I knew I made my point very clear. I would have no problem killing him right here, right now. Thankfully, this was a werewolf only school, the only humans that attend are those who are mated to my pack members.

Undecided on whether I should interrogate him here, and then take him to the dungeons or if I should just take him to the dungeons and let my father handle this situation, I look at Jayden. After seeing just how back the claw marks across his chest were now, I decide that this was a job for my father sine after all this trespasser did injure one of his prized possessions, his children. When it comes to my father, you can do anything but as soon as you mess with his children you mine as well be dead.

Mind linking the beta of the pack, John, I told him I would be bringing a trespasser down to the dungeons. Turning to the crowd, I shouted loud and clear, "SHOW IS OVER. GET TO CLASS NOW." Seeing the crowd disperse quickly, I sigh.

Pulling the silver handcuffs out of my purse, with my leather gloves on of course, I walk up to the mutt.

"Turn around and let's just do this the easy way" As the mutt turned around, I was shocked at how easily he complied and still has not said a word to me. Becoming suspicious, I made sure to make a mental note to let John know what I have noticed. Seeing as that is not typical behavior for a rouge. Looking at Jayden, I motion my head in the direction of my car. Getting the idea of what I meant, he walked over to the car and opened the back door. I pushed the mutt into the back of the car, roughly. Jayden sliding into the back with him to make sure he didn't try anything slick, I walked around to my side of the door and got in the car. Deciding to try and get some information out of him, I asked him "What's your name, mutt?".

"He's coming for you" His voice was low, and full of venom. Shocked I turned around quickly to look at him, but before I could react I heard the loud shrill of a car horn and the squealing of breaks. Turning around, all I could see was the blinding lights of a tractor trailer come barreling towards my car.....
