Stay (A Zalfie fanfic)

Chapter Two

Alfie's POV

I'm at Topman with Marcus and Caspar looking for some more shirts as I have grown out of my old ones again. My mum's right, I really do need to stop growing. I'm extra excited because Joe, Louise and my little one Zoe are meeting us later. I haven't seen them in way too long and today we all get to hang out together. Zo is my best friend, I talk to her about everything.

Well... almost everything. I still haven't told her about Joanna. I think she will be okay with it but I can never really tell. Girls really confuse me.

'Oh my god Alfie look at Caspar' Marcus whispered, and distracting me from my thoughts in the process. I look over at him and see that he is dancing to What Now by Rihanna with some random girl. What a slut. I look over at Marcus who is doubled over laughing and I roll my eyes playfully and smirk at him.

Then someone taps me on my shoulder so I spin around and see that Joe is standing in front of me beaming! I grab him into a massive bear hug and he splutters out 'Not.... again!' I look at him out the corner of my eye and say 'Louise?' He laughed and nods.

I ask where Louise and Zoe are and he tells me they wanted to have a catch up in Costa. I nod and we walk over to Marky Butt Butt and Caspar. Let the shopping trip commence.

*An hour and a half later*

Success! All my shopping done, now we just have to get Louise's birthday present so we walk into Choccywoccydoodah as we decided to all pitch in together and get her a YouTube cake made. It is going to have all of her YouTube friends on it, including yours truly, Matt and, of course, Darcy. It also needs a big YouTube logo on it and at the top of it the cake will say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOU! Her birthday is in a week so it needs to be ready by then.

Once we told the woman who runs it, Christine, exactly what we want, we leave the shop and go to find Louise and Zoe in Costa's. My phone buzzes and I see two texts:

MyJoanna: Baby I miss you where are you today? Love you my gorgeous:*

I reply to her with a smile and say: I miss you too babe, I'm not free today though:( I'm hanging out with my friends in Brighton but I can see you tomorrow? Love you too.

I send it and look at my other text.

Lou My Partner In Crime: ALFIE HURRY UP AND GET YOUR ARSE TO COSTA ZOE'S ON THE VERGE OF HAVING A PANIC ATTACK AND SHE NEEDS YOU. HURRY!

I hastily reply to her: Shit. I'm on my way.

I send it and quickly yell at the others that I need to run ahead to which they nod and give me a thumbs up, letting me know that it was okay. I run at full speed in the direction of Costa. When I get there I see Zo is sobbing on Louise's shoulder and shaking like crazy.

Louise looks up and see's me, giving me a mixed look of relief and for some reason, annoyance?

'Zo, are you okay?' I ask anxiously.

She doesn't look at me at first. She just nods and tries to hide the fact that she was sobbing just moments ago. Then she turns to look at me.

She looks heartbroken.

Yet, she still manages to look beautiful with mascara all down her face, a slightly runny nose and puffy red eyes.

'I'm ok Alf, honest, I was just having a little zoment. Get it? Like a Zoe moment? Ha. Funny me. Sorry. I'm just gonna excuse myself, fix myself up a bit because look at me. I'm an ugly mess,' she tries to convince me.

'M okay, and by the way Zoe, you never look ugly so don't put yourself down.' I reply with a grin.

I watch her walk to the ladies bathroom when suddenly Louise's hand comes out of nowhere and thwacks me around the ear.

'OW?! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?! I GOT HERE AS FAST AS I COULD AND I C—'

She cuts me off by saying 'you honestly don't know?'

I tell her no, because honestly I'm clueless. Lou rolls her eyes and starts to tell me why Zoe was crying.

'Well... I told her about Joanna.'

'YOU WHAT!?' I scream.

'SH! KEEP. YOUR VOICE. DOWN.' she whisper-yells at me.

'How could y—'

Once again I am cut off but this time it's because Marcus, Joe and Caspar are here. My phone beeps.

MyJoanna: I hope you aren't with that Louise girl. I don't trust her. And I don't trust that Zoe chick either from what you told me. You belong to me and only me.

I roll my eyes and reply: Yeah I am with Louise and I am with Zoe. They're my best friends. This relationship won't work if you don't trust me and if you won't let me have my friends.

I get a reply almost immediately.

MyJoanna:  Just be careful. I'll try ok? Love you.

I shut my phone off and look up to see Caspar and Louise glaring at me. WHAT DID I DO?!

Okay so I've only just started this story and there's over 100 reads already?! That's insane! I hope you like it so far! I'll try to update either tomorrow or Sunday. Thank you for reading! The next chapter is going to be from Louise's POV and then the story will properly start.
