Chapter 16

August pov.

I hurried and untied Amara from the chains. Worried why she was here.

"Why are you tied up?" I say confused. "Ask them cause I'm confused myself!"

"Why is she tied up?" I said to duke and ken.

"Well a few weeks ago she stole money from our boss. She did a private dance and robed him of twenty g's."

I was shocked to her this. I never thought she would be robing niggas.

"Is that so Amara?"

She shook her head yeah.

"Leave her!"

"Now you know boss would disapprove with this. What is she to you?" Ken asked.

"Don't worry I said leave her."

"I can't wait to tell boss about this one." Duke said with a smirk

"You niggas will do anything for a extra dollar in your pocket!"
I helped Amara up. When I turned around they both had
there guns raised up at me.

In one swift motion I kicked ken's gun to the ceiling and had him by the neck.

While Amara had duke's gun pointed towards his head.

"So this what it's gone be!?" Ken yelled.
"It is what you make it!" I spat

I grabbed Amara's hand and walk out.

Amara pov.
I sat in August car thinking of all the times he has helped me out in situations.
"Thank you."
"For?" He said moving my hair out of my face.

"All those times you where there for me." I looked out the window trying to think of my next move, I couldn't go back to Dans neither my moms place.

"You hungry?"
"No thank you."

"Just take me to the nearest hotel."

He kept driving passing by all the nearest hotels. We soon arrived at a two story house.

"Umm I said a nearest hotel not somebody's house."

"Chill this my house I have plenty room here." He said opening my door for me.

He led me in the house and showed me the guess bedroom which had its own bathroom.

I lay on the big comfy bed to take a nap.

It's been two weeks since I've been back to the strip club. I ended up getting hired at a new one to avoid Dan.

I got out of the Uber to see the big sign that says "Secrets."

I had to start from square one all again.

I walked in to the smell of funk mixed with liquor.

I went into to locker room to get changed into my attire which was a bra and thong set.

"Welcome to the stage Treasureeeee!"
