Christmas Surprise - Michael

Summary: Michael surprises Y/N with a kitten for Christmas

You are sitting next to christmas tree in your ugly sweater with a cup of hot cocoa waiting for Michael to come home with your christmas gift. He said he had it stored at Luke's place so that you wouldn't see. You continue watching 'Elf', one of your all time favorite christmas movies. Your phone buzzes with a text from Michael.

Mike wazowski: open the door, close your eyes, and put your hands out 😘

You quickly go to the front door and open it. You close your eyes and put your hands out, curiosity peaked. 2 minutes later you hear footsteps on the driveway and you struggle not to open your eyes. All of a sudden there's something warm and furry placed in your hands and your eyes shoot open. In front of you is the cutest kitten you've seen. You immediately bring it closer out of instinct.

"Merry christmas y/n!" Michael says.

"Michael! Where did you get him?" Michael fills you in on all the details of the baby ginger cat  with wide green eyes resting snugly in your arms. You try to put the kitten down but it clings to you and gives goo goo eyes so you cuddle it instead. Michael giggles as he softly pets the top of his head and it purrs under his touch. You lean up and give michael a kiss.

"Oh wait I still have to give you your present." You reluctantly hand the kitten to Michael and go to your room to get his gift. "It's not as good as a cat... but here you go." You say handing over the box. He sits down and lets the kitten down so that he can open his gift. Inside is a bunch of video games in a stack. They include video games that he broke/lost in the past and ones you know he's been wanting for a while.

"Y/n this is amazing! These are all so expensive though..." he trails off.

"The boys helped me out with some of it." You explain. He stands up and gives you a hug. "Merry Christmas Mikey."

"Merry christmas y/n. Wait he still doesn't have a name!" You and Michael think of names. Your two options are Aslan and Cheetah. You both look over at the cat looking around with wide eyes and suddenty a name pops into your head.

"Curiosity." You blurt before thinking twice.

"It's perfect for him." Mikey smiles. "Curiosity." He calls out and the cat responds with a 'meow'. You giggle.

"He likes it." You and Michael spend the rest of the day cuddling, watching movies and playing video games with Curiosity
