Aurora woke in the morning next to a peaceful Damon. About a month had past, a very uneventful and unpreductive month. He looked so at peace when he slept. She decided not to wake him just yet so she just closed her eyes so she could think. Damon would never forgive Katherine, that much was obvious. But could she really keep their past a secret? She didnt want to lose him, he had been the only person she let herself fall for in a long time. Since him... She shook her head quickly, scattering the memories of her last boyfriend. She wouldnt let that happen to Damon, she would be smart this time. Now killing Elijah was another thing. They hadnt used to kill him yet, they still hadnt found the witch burning site, and it had been a long time since she had seen Katherine. They werent any closer to getting aywhere then they were a month before. Most of them were busy with school this month, while Damon and Aurora had let reality go for a while since they needed the others and just focused on their relationship. That had been nice, but still. Damon knew everyting about her past except for Katherine, and she wasnt stupd, she knew that he knew she was leaving something out. But he had not bugged or rushed her, he trusted her to tell her on his own time. She didnt want to keep it a secret, but she knew he would be angry. It had been her 145 years ago that was the friend of Katherines he had remembered but never known, it was her who was also missing from the tomb that they had ever figured out. It had been her that helped Katherine escape after she was supposed to be in the tomb. She knew how hurt Damon had been when he had found out he spent 145 looking for Katherine to find out she never loved him. She didnt want him to realize all of this, about how much she was keeping from him, and lying to him. He would leave her for sure. Plus Zelda was quite fond of him, and he loved her. Life should have been perfect and happy at the moment, but as always, it wasnt for Aurora. She wanted so badly to come out and tell him the truth, but she couldnt.

"Stop staring, its creepy" Damon smirked as he rolled over.

"Its romantic" Aurora smiled and kissed him. He pulled her into his arms and she sighed happily, breathing in the faint smell of his cologne from yesterday.

"What do you want to do today Angel?" he asked as he rubbed her back lovingly. She pulled away slightly so she could look at him.

"As much as i have loved the past couple weeks of just us, now that school isnt so busy we really need to get everyone to focus on everything" Aurora said flatly.

"We do, dont we?" Damon sighed, kissing her forehead.

"Unfortunetely" Aurora whispered.

"Damon!!" Someone shouted from downstairs, thats never a good thing. We looked at each other then bolted downstairs.

"God Stefan what is it? I thought something was wrong" I frowned at Stefan who was petting Zelda.

"Somethings wrong but its not that bad, plus its the only effective way to get Damons attention" Stefan shrugged but smiled and hugged me.

"What is it then?" Damon glared.

"John wants to meet up, hes coming over for dinner" Stefan muttered.

"Why?" I asked curiously. John hated us.

"Something about being on the same side, Elena's side, he says he has a way to kill Elijah" Stefan said, walking over and sitting on the couch.

"Bullshit" Damon growled. "He hates us"

"We better hear him out though Damon" I said calmly, returning to his side to make sure he didnt snap.

"I dont care what he has to say, he'd kill us if he got the chance" Damon growled, turning away from me and walking to the liquor cabinet. Stefan looked pleadingly at me, if anyone could convince Damon of anything, it was me.
