Chanyeol to the right!

I can’t believe I’m finally able to say this but: it’s a Saturday morning and I have to prepare for training.
Eeep!
How exciting, right?
I know what you might be thinking – what an idiot, she has to wake up at six in the morning just to practise for hours and hours – it might sound like that to you but that is a dream for me.
“Bye, mum, I’m going out!” I yell out, but I know better that she was still fast asleep. Gosh, this felt great. I felt great.
I know I shouldn’t be letting my guard down this early because more than two hundred people had managed to get through to the 2nd round, but this just felt amazing.
The first person I see when I enter the practise room is Brian, who was dancing away to a backup track to a song which I recognised was from Bangtan.
“Hey,” I say shyly, once he turns to look at me.
“Hey!” he says, as he stops the music and walks towards me. I felt myself blush. No one has ever been this nice to me.
“So you got in, huh?” I say awkwardly.
“Yeah, I’m glad you did too,” Brian smiles at me.
“How was it?”
“I was completely terrified when I walked through that door, especially when I met Mr. Tak’s gaze. I swear, that man’s gaze could kill.”
“Mr. Tak?”
“Tak Youngjun, the man sitting in the centre. He’s the head manager of EXO and he makes most of the decisions. He’s probably the one giving you a hard time,” he looks around, before he whispers to me, “I heard he scared his first wife so much so that’s why she ran away with another man.”
“What?” I say in shock.
He shrugs, “Just rumours.”
“Oh god, that’s terrible.”
“What is? Being so scary?”
“No, the fact that his own wife would abandon him for another man.”
“Eh, it happens,” he looks into the distance, “People you love eventually leave you. That’s why you have to learn to live with yourself sometimes.”
Dad...
I felt a sting in my throat and I knew that the tears would come again if I didn’t control myself. I turned to face Brian, “Hey, show me that dance routine of yours again.”

The lady from that day comes back to introduce us to our tasks this time. She was wearing a red dress today, and if possible, it was an even tighter one.
“I’d just like to congratulate you all for getting accepted into the second round. All of you should give yourselves a pat on the back. Now, onto your tasks. Today, you’ll begin to work on your own routine. This routine will be your final presentation for their judging on stage presence. It will be based on four things. Originality, choreography, technique, and strength. If you lack in one of these four things, then focus on what you’re strong on. And remember: you live to impress.”
She gives us the same cold smile, “Good luck. Oh and a little good news to boost your mood. EXO might be roaming around in the practise rooms today and checking out these potential new stars. So don’t slack off.”
