"Jade Wonder Collins, you get your Gluteus Maximus out of this bed right now or I will on purpose tell Carlos not take you to modelling gig tomorrow and tell Madyes that you would not get up for school!" My maid Sheridan yells at me getting my curling iron hot on my vanity.
"Ok, ok, I'm up, I'm up" I look at my alarm clock and read 6:30. "UGGG! Sheridan, why did you get me up so early, I have one hour left to sleep"
"It's picture day." Wow, she really knows how to get me up. Picture day, PICTURE DAY. It is picture day and I only have one hour to get ready!!!!! I through the covers off and slide into my slippers and put on my robe. I grab a towel and run into my bathroom. I quickly check my reflection in the mirror. Not too bad, a little mascara under my eyes and a smug of grease in my hair, other than that, I look fine. I quickly take a warm shower and dry my hair.
I check the time 6:55. I'm a little relieved, but still a little rushed on time. I put on a maroon dress that it cut on the shoulders. I lightly curl my hair and add a tiny bit of mascara and lip gloss (notice how I said lip gloss, not lipstick) and put on a black necklace.
This is the time, where I Sit down and breath. Staying calm at all times is what people like me have to do in order to not get hurt. I close my eyes for a split second before my phone rings. I look at the contact name. Julia. Just the person I need to talk to. I answer.
"Hey Jules" I start
"Hey Bestie, picture day, are you ready to get your model on"
"You know it. Ummm quick question, what are you currently wearing" Julia is a very sporty girl, and hates wearing anything girly. So every picture day, I check to see what she is wearing to make sure she looks presentable.
"Ummm . . . Jeans and a cubs shirt"
"Julia Alenia Lopez, you get your gluteus maximus in your room and make yourself look nice do you here" I know I can't see her, but I can sense that she rolled her eyes.
"Yes mother."
"Good now, got to go. See you at school.'
"Bye"
"Bye" Just as I hang up the call, Sheridan walks in my room.
"Another call with Julia???" She starts
"Yep"
"When will she learn that she will get have to look presentable if she doesn't want you up her a . . ."
"Ok that is enough with the language." Me and Sheridan have been trying to work on her language. Before she became my maid, she would cuss and so a whole bunch of not so good stuff. And plus, I don't like bad words.
"Sorry, anyway, Franz is cooking you breakfast so get your butt down stairs"
"Oh, let me guess, the usually 11 strawberries smoothie with eggs and ham"
"You know it."
"Great" Trying to give her the hint of sarcasm. She just shrugged it off. I grabbed my favourite pair of black flats and ran down the stairs. I reached the kitchen and my phone buzzed signalling I got a text. I didn't recognise the number, but I read it anyways.
*Hey Jade, you probably don't have my number, but I'm Gavin, Gavin Smith xx*
He included kissey Xs. (Oh, just so you know Gavin have been my crush since grade school), I'm know in 8th grade and he finally talks to me.
* Oh yeah. Do you need something? *
* No *
* Should I be scared or something?? *
* NO, no I just wanted to make sure I had your number Xx *
* And why may I ask *
* Just cause *
* Ok, well got to go see you later ?? *
* See you Later Xx *

"Someone's got a lover" Sheridan says over my shoulder. I scream
" Don't scare me like that"
"Sorry, I just wanted to know why you aren't eating you warm, soon to be cold food." I huff.
Just as I finish eating, Carlos pulls into the driveway with the limo. I grab my backpack and phone and run out the door. I jump in the car and and we start to drive to school.
When we arrive at school, I instantly see Lucy and May talking. Carlos opens the door for me, and as usually, I get looks from everyone. Not bad looks, but good looks. When I reach May and Lu, (yes I call her Lu) I notice that they don't look that bad today, I was expecting them to look like what Julia, but nope, The looked really good today. Lu is wearing a light pink dress that almost matches her pink highlights in her hair. May is wearing Floral leggings and a cute black shirt.
" Hey guys, have you seen Julia" I ask walking up to her.
"Yeah, she is right behind you" Lu says, I turn around to see Julia wearing a cubs shirt and a skirt.
"Jules, what did I say." I start
"I'm Sorry, but I didn't have anything else, so I just put on a skirt"
"It's ok, at least you don't look that bad" I complement
"Thanks" She just glances over he shoulder to see her crush since preschool, Antonio, walking past us. He is also with Gavin, which I expected. "Hi Antonio" She says.
"Hey" he responds. She smiles.
"Oh, hey Jade" Gavin says to me
"Oh, hey" Lu and May, are just chatting away while we have our moment. They walk away and Julia just explodes.
"O-M-G. Did you gut Here, Antonio Bryan just talked to me. Did you here. O-M-G" she gushes
"Ok, calm down, you know I was there, right?"
"Oh yeah sorry" The bell rings singling us that school is about to start. Me Lu, May, and Julia walk inside the school and go our separate ways. I stop at my locker first thought, to grab my ELA book, I have that first. I turn around, but end up running right into someone. I drop my books, but I was able to catch my computer with my foot.
"Wow, that was impressive" Says Gavin. Great I just ran into one of the hottest guys in school, and dropped my stuff. This may not sound that bad to you, but this just shows that I'm a klutz. AND I"M NOT A KLUTZ, at least sometimes I'm not a klutz.
"Um, thanks?" Not know what he was referring to.
"You catching your computer with your foot, that was awesome" Ohh, makes more sense
"Oh yeah, thanks"
"No problem" He starts to pick up my stuff and hands it to me"
"Thanks"
"Again, no problem" I'm about to walk away, but he stops me.
"Wait Jade. Me and Antonio were wondering if you and your friend Julia would like to come to our Christmas party on the 24?" I'm definitely a little awestruck, but I shake it off.
"I would love to, Jules might not be able to, Christmas eve with the family. My mom will probably be working and my dad always has some kind of patient on Christmas eve. So yeah."
"Great, we'll see you later"
"Ok, buy" O-M-G, I feel like Jules right now, Because O-M-G
