Before I start, I would like to apologise for the so-not-creative chapter title.

"TAEHYUNG!"

And then my face reddened when he turned around. What the heck was I doing, shouting his name above the crowd noise, like I had already known him for ten years. I needed to chill, yeah that's what, but I couldn't. I didn't even plan what I was going to ask. I mumbled a silent prayer that all would go well as he began to walk in my direction.

"Jae Eun?" He looked a little puzzled as he stood in front of me, hands in his pockets and slightly slouched. He had the same built and walking habit as Jungkook, and of course equal charm and attractiveness ... no wonder they click so well.

"Uhh... Taehyung, can we talk?" I nearly choked. Don't ask me why, I really don't know.

"Yeah.. sure...?" Now he looked extremely surprised.

We walked slowly to the park bench, the exact same spot Jungkook and Taehyung had been sitting, talking so gaily just a few days ago.

"Firstly, how do you know me?" I broke out. What was wrong with me again?

He looked at me questioningly for a while, before a cheeky smile appeared on his face. "Well, I know everyone in this school, don't I?" He mused, and aimed another of his grins at me. Ooops, I started to feel kinda flustered.

"Hmm... shouldn't I be asking you that question instead?" He continued cheerfully, a hint of playfulness in his voice. 

"Uhh.... oh I uhh..." I stammered, but failed to get the right words out. Luckily he sensed the awkwardness, and diverted the topic away.

"I guess since I'm Tae the Social King, then you've got to be Jae the Social Queen?" I laughed along with the joke, and felt a little honoured to be sharing a laugh with Taehyung. Honestly, I did hear that Taehyung was one of the most popular guys in the school, and many girls longed for a chance to get just a few minutes of his precious time.

And here I was hogging up more than just a few minutes of his time that many girls were fervently waiting for. What was I here for again? Oh, right.

Internally, I wished that I wasn't here for an interrogation about Jungkook. Instead, I longed for it to have been merely a casual conversation I was havingwith a casual friend. Resigning to fate, I continued. But before I could, he did it himself.

"Are you here to ask about Jungkook?" He shot a wild guess, but miraculously hit the nail on the head. Wow. I actually had to not believe it was a wild guess but... oh well.

"H...how did you know?"

"Oh wow, I'm great you see.." He replied jokingly, and smiiiiiillllleed again.

"But honestly, it was just the only thing that made sense. You see, I figured the only possibility you wanted to talk to me was about Jungkook. Besides... we didn't even know each other that well."

"Oh..." I commented, unable to think of anything sensible to say in response to Taehyung. But then I noticed the didn't.

"Wait... didn't? Uhh... I mean..."

"Ahh... didn't because that's a thing of the past." He countered and flashed a wide grin at me.

"Wh...what...?"

"Tell me about your life then," He feigned a look of solemness.

I blinked. "What?"

He laughed. "Nah, I'm kidding." He stood up, ready to go. "I'm sorry you didn't get to ask any questions, but time's up, I'm afraid I've got to go." He glanced at his watch. "Feel free to look me up anytime whenever you like. So now we can be.... friends?" He extended a hand.

"Uhh... yeah of course!" I blushed wildly and returned the handshake. 

With that, we split up and rushed to our different blocks for classes which were starting in like... five minutes. Gosh, I didn't know I got so carried away.

I'm sorry this chapter was really shitty. I admit I was carried away when I was writing HAHAHA so thanks so much if you actually had the patience to read through this entire trash and maybe even voted for it :)

Anyway, I apologise for the weird title and even weirder story, I'll try to focus next time haha. Here's something I would like to share though: I love the real-life Taehyung's voice heehee sorry I'm weird too but carry on reading if you can understand the stuff I'm writing! Byee :D
