Chapter 11

"Is their a problem? Tell Raymond I'm on my way, I just seemed to be lost. Can one of you kind lads please direct me to his office?" One guy put down his gun and motioned for me to pass through. Of course some other guy hit him in the back of his head and he regained his posture with his gun up and faced me. "You know I've been with Raymond long enough go know that he wouldn't kill me. I've valuable to him. He needs me so just put those cannons down and take me to him." I'm starting to convince myself that I was becoming my mom. "Think again princessa. Raymond has ordered us to kill you now matted what. Say goodbye." A stuffy man with a thick Spanish accent cocked his gun. A wave of panic rushed over me. Yes, I've been in these predicaments before but I'm in no shape to be fighting or even walking in heels. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. A yelp escaped my lips as the first shot when off. Then another. About 8 more sounded off before they all stopped. I found myself on the floor in the fetal position. I opened one eye then the other. Dead body guards everywhere. I looked up in front of me and became face to face with the last guard standing. He removed his helmet and I almost cried. In the flesh stood, Nemesis. I quickly got up and jumped on him. "Oh my god why didn't you come earlier?" He chuckled. "You're welcome." Rushed footsteps were heard coming down the hall. Nemesis cocked his gun and I pulled mine out from my breast. It came with the mom costume. "Oh my.. Lana, thank god. They found out, we have to go NOW!" My mom panted as she ran towards us. Seeing as a stampede of guards were coming after her, we ran too. "What happened?" I shouted out to her as she passed us. "I'll explain later. We have to get out of here." We kept running. Nemesis did get caught at one point and I had to use that cannon but eventually we came to a dead end. "We have to go through the window. Jump on 3. 1." My stomach dropped. I wasn't ready. The close we got to the window the more sick I got. "2." I held Nemesis's hand. "3." The glass shattered as soon as we hit it. It was about 3 stories high, not bad but still scary. I'm not entirely sure what happened after that by as soon as my body bit that window, I blacked out.
