Sitting on the table an unexpected guest, a letter.

A letter so beautifully wrapped.

I watched as it laid and gasped.

The anxious feeling made my heart flutter.

Could it be a letter seeking forgiveness?

Could it be a letter saying goodbye?

Could it be a letter giving reason for her will to die?

Could it be a letter of apology for her foolishness?

The overwhelming desire to open it,

Filled the atmosphere in the room.

If opened its truth would haunt me to my tomb.

Its truth could be deeper than the bottomless pit.

I opened the letter as my imagination went wild.

Tears filled my eyes as I started to read,

She wrote of her love, which was true indeed.

At the end of the letter, I understood of her love so kind.
