He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a small box.
He got on his knee on the floor, and opened the small box to reveal a ring. He cleared his throat, and tears filled my eyes, and I began to blush. "(Y/n) will you marry me..?" He said shyly.
I jumped off of the bed and hugged him tightly. "YES! Yes! Yes! Yes!" I yelled happily as hurried to him, wrapping my arms tightly around him. He took my hand and slid the ring onto my ring finger. I smiled and he smiled back. Gently, he kissed my hand and I hugged him once more.
"I love you Negan."
"I love you too (y/n)."

My heart couldn't believe that this was happening. He proposed to me! My heart fluttered as I sat there on the bed in front of him, smiling. He smiled back and stood up, leaned in and kissed me gently on the lips. I had never been happier in my life, than I am now with Negan.

I decided I'd hold back telling the news to my parents for a while, since they seemed to need to cool down a bit. They'd just gotten here, so they wouldn't understand what I've been through with him. How much he's changed me, and me him.
A sincere smile crossed Negan's face as he walked toward the door, opened it, and left it open so that I could see what he was about to do. He turned back to me, an adorable smile on his face. He turned back to the doorway, heading to the door across the hallway.

He opened the door to the other ladies and cleared his throat. "All of you may go, don't come back, live your lives. I've found the love of my life, and I feel like yall should go to yours." He turned and smiled at me as I walked up behind him. I was proud of him for taking this step towards goodness. Towards being a better person.
The ladies looked at me and Negan with confused looks. He was a different man. Sherry knew she was going to run to Dwight, she loved him, she yearned to be at his side every day for the past year. All of the girls hurried out, a short blonde girl, the youngest, stopped in the doorway. "Thank you." She said softly to both of us before she hurried off after the others.

The room was cleared and Negan turned around and hugged me tightly. His stubble caught on my hair, making me laugh as we finished hugging. A few strands of my hair got stuck in his beard, making us both laugh as he gently got them out. His smile was bright, brighter than I'd ever seen.

We headed to the dining hall and Negan stood above on the platform. Everyone looked up, and Negan looked to me and I gave him my hand. "We're engaged!" He shouted with happiness in his voice. Everyone below clapped. They could tell he was changing from the violent tyrant that he used to be. Maybe he'd be a more gracious leader after all.

Negan and I went back to his room and lied on the bed, cuddling eachother. He looked at me with his hypnotizing eyes, and asked, "do you want to move into my room with me?", I nodded happily. "Yes, of course!"
This was perfect!
We continued to lie there together, when Negan turned to me and kissed my forehead. He remembered something and smiled. "I'll be right back." He said, standing up, walking into the closet, gently opening the doors.
He came back with a box that was messily wrapped in newspaper, and tied with a thin rope tied in a tangled bow. He handed it to me and I set it on the bed in front of me and began to open it. I pulled the lid off of the box, and found a leather jacket inside. I smiled and tried it on, it was perfect. Negan smiled as he grabbed his jacket, and put it on.
"Now we match!" He replied happily.

Negan had found the jacket on a supply run he'd recently gone on at an abandoned department store, and knew he had to give it to me as a gift.

He took his hand and pulled my hair back out of my face. Passionately, he kissed me, and I wrapped my arms around him, gently rubbing his back as we kissed. He wrapped his arms around me and we continued kissing. He pulled away and smiled at me.
"I love you.... More than anything.." He said, blushing.
I smiled and replied. "I love you too Negan."
