I can feel Jake's glare upon me. I deliberately turned my seat, so I was facing Sam and Jesse, because of course my 'lovely' boyfriend decided to sit across from me... He keeps clearing his throat, trying to touch my hand and talk to me. So in other words, he's been trying so hard to gather my attention. But I can't find it anywhere inside me, I just can't forgive him. Not yet, maybe not for awhile and him not telling me what's going on is just making it worse.

I tune out Sam's and Jesse's conversation over Werewolves and Vampires and which they'd prefer. That stuff doesn't matter to me. I turn back to Jake but he's also tuned into their conversation.

"Hey Jake." He pays no attention, "Jake!"

"What!?" He hisses. He blinks and shakes his head, "Sorry Babe..."

I shake my head, "No, it's fine."

He reaches out to grab my hand and I let him take it, "I'm really sorry."

"It's okay!" I say and force a smile. Jesse and Sam have stopped arguing and I can feel them looking at us, "Hey Jake?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you know my favourite colour?"

He chuckles, "Ashlyn, you're strange."

"Please answer the question."

"Why, is this some type of test?" I shrug and he glares at me. I think he's angry. But angry at me for asking or angry at himself for not knowing?

"C'mon, Jake..." Sam encourages but Jake just glares at her as well.

"Green or flouro green." He seems so confident...

"Ouch..." I mumble.

"What, did I get it wrong?"

I nod. It should be so obvious...

"Let me guess..?" Jesse says. I turn my chair completely sideways to face him. Yes, he sat riiight beside me, "Your favourite colour is purple?"

My mouth drops open, "How could you tell?"

He nods his head at my body, "Well, look at your get-up." I look at the outfit I chose to wear today. My tight corset is black and purple, my bag is purple and so are my shoes. I also decided to wear purple eye shadow, black eyeliner, a slight touch of foundation and purple lip gloss.

I smile and turn to Jake, "That, my 'boyfriend' was someone I just met today."

"Hmph!" He crosses his arms over his chest and looks down at his half full plate, "I'm done." He pushes the plate away and pushes it into mine. No...

But yes of course, the plate almost full of chips, covered in tomato sauce and salad spill all over my lap.

I gasp and leap up, "Jake! You idiot!"

The people close to us stop and stare. One mother with a young child blocks her sons ears and glares at me.

And what does Jake do? He laughs, he sits there and he freaking laughs, "Jake!" Sam gasps.

A big hand lands on my back, "You alright?"

I look into Jesse's eyes and nod, "I-I think so... Just a little shaken. What if I got burnt..?" I look down, "He wouldn't have cared..." I whisper.

He sighs, "Ashlyn... He does care about you."

I look up at him and he takes a step back, "No, he doesn't!" I hiss.

I look down at my skinny jeans and groan. They are absolutely ruined, I can't wear these in my car... Yay, spending money...

"Jake." I look up when Jesse announces Jakes name.
