MILA'S POV
Darcy's diner was half full when I stepped in.
I looked around for Marie and found her sitting at booth as she waved her arms like some crazy person.
I walked over to her and sat in front of her.
"Hey." I said,
"Hi, so I've got big news." Marie squealed and jumped in her seat.
She was munching on ketchup covered fries and I leaned forward and took some.
"What's up?" I asked, knowing she was dying to tell me.
"Well, I feel like Jake is the one." Marie blurted out,
She sighed as she leaned back in the seat and ate some fries.
"Wow. Congratulations, I'm happy for you." I said, smiling at her.
"Yeah. I felt as if my heart stopped when we were on our date and I'm just happy with him... excited even. " She said,
I smiled at her and ate her fries. I was truly happy for her. After many years of seeing her date many guys and just simply break up with them. Marie truly deserved happiness.
"So, what about you? Has Raiden or Blaine asked you out?" Marie asked,
I choked on a fry and forced it down before staring at her.
"No! I'm trying to avoid both right now at the moment." I muttered,
Marie rolled at me and we silently ate the fries.
"Ok, so what are we going to do do about Raiden and Blaine?" Marie asked finally breaking.
I looked up at her and raised an eyebrow.
"We?" I asked,
"Well, yeah. I'm going to help you sort out your boy problems." Marie said as if it was the most of obvious thing in the world.
"Oh, no thank you. I have no boy problems. I'm simply going to tell Blaine that I want us to be friends and Raiden that I don't like LIKE him and friend zone both of them." I said,
"Really? Well, why don't you start with one of them." Marie said, smirking at me.
I turned around my seat to see Blaine walk in with his friends. They were laughing and fooling around.
"He seems busy and I don't want to disturb their fun time." I quickly said, turning back around.
"Oh, I'm sure we can just borrow him for a just second. BLAINE, can you come here for a second please!" Marie yelled out,
I grimaced and slouched in my chair.
"Oh, hey Marie. Mila, I didn't see you both here." Blaine said, appearing in front of us.
"Oh, its fine. Mila here actually wants to tell you something. Right, Mila?" Marie said, smiling over t me.
If looks could kill, a dinosaur would be eating Marie right now.
"Umm, yes I do. If you don't have someone to go the fair with you, then I'd be happy to go because I like I think you're a cool friend and I have fun with you." I blurted out,
My mouth seemed to have diarrhea and I couldn't stop talking.
"Wow, I was actually planning to ask you. Sure, I'll pick you up tomorrow afternoon. Right now I have to go back to my friends, but I'll call you." Blaine said smiling,
I forced a smile and nodded my head.
He walked away and it wasn't long before Marie burst out laughing.
