Chapter 17

MILA'S POV

Things were excellent!

Blaine and Ana were going to go on an official date, Marie was finally off my back on playing matchmaker, and Raiden and I were together.

Yes... Raiden and I were officially a thing.

"Ok! Father/Son bonding time was a success!" Dad cheered, strolling into the house with with James and Leo behind him and holding a bucket of fish.

"Did you catch that from the lake?" Marie asked and he nodded his head proudly.

"Are they allowed to that?" Ana asked in a hushed voice and I shrugged not quite sure myself.

"We're going to cook them up and grill them for tonight's dinner!" Dad cheered, dropping the nails on the kitchen floor.

"Good for you. FYI, those fish stink." Marie swore, covering her nose with her sweater.

"Yeah, get those things out of here." Maya agreed, coming down the stairs.

James and Leo carried the buckets outside, spilling fish blood water on their way.

"Finally." Marie groaned, shaking her head before resuming the show.

"What are you guys watching?" Grandma Lena asked, appearing so suddenly.

"Jesus. Grandma! You're gonna give me a heartache." Marie sobbed, clutching her chest.

Grandma Lena rolled her eyes and plopped herself onto the couch with us.

"We're only watching the greatest, most loving show on the planet... Queer Eye." I answered,

"Ita a show about 5 awesome gay men going around Georgia and giving makeovers to straight men. We're on season 2 right now and can I just saw for the millionth time that if any of them ever desired to have kids that they can just call me up and I will bear their children." Marie sighed, running her hands down her body and moaning.

"Preach!" Ana and I cheered in unison.

"How astonishing. It's good to see the gay community getting more views and praise. Back in my youth if a gay man so much as breathed he would be pelted." Grandma Lena sighed,

"Its so sad, but we're trying to rise above all that hate... no matter what President Dorritos says." Marie roared, jumping to her feet and thumbed her chest.

"Yassss queen!" Ana and I cheered on.

We would've continued on if it was for Tan who graced us with his presence.

"Does anyone notice those clouds?" Leo asked,

"Shut up Leo! No one cares." The four of us snapped absorbed into the show.

"Come on Mila." Raiden groaned, tugging at my arm.

"But but but... Antoni is just so goddamn beautiful and the Fab 5 are just so precious and most be protected at all costs." I sobbed,

Raiden rolled his eyes and pulled out the house.

It was so close to getting dark with only a minuscule of light coming from behind the trees.

We walked down the path and I cried my eyes, trying to compose myself.

"What is it that we're doing out here?" I asked,

"This." Raiden stated and we stopped close to the water where a blanket was laid out on the ground.

Pillows were on it and some candles were lit around it.
