DAN POV-----
"Are you sure they will like me? I mean there are a lot of reasons why they could hate me."
Asked Phil timidly. I looked over at him as we walked up the driveway of my parents house. I stopped walking and pulled him around to face me. I looked into his Ocean blue eyes and stroked his cheek with the pad of my hand. He leaned into my touch and i smiled at him.
"Phil don't be silly! They will love you and I'm not sure what the hell you're talking about, because you are the most perfect person i know and i love you so much."
I said softly. Phil blushed and looked down. I laughed at his reaction and grabbed his hand in mine as we walked the rest of the way to my parents home. we walked up the steps and i looked over at Phil.
"Ready?"
I questioned him, placing a quick kiss on his lips. He smiled and nodded. I took a step forward and knocked on the door. A few second later my mother opened the door. She smiled at me and Phil squeezed my hand. I squeezed it back as my mother opened the door, ushering us in. She led us into the living room and i sat down next to Phil as my mother sat on the opposite couch.
"Oh my goodness Daniel! You're all grown now! It seems just yesterday I was bathing you in the sink!"
She said lightheartedly. Phil giggled and i face palmed myself.
"Mommmm!"
I said embarrassed. She laughed and looked over at Phil.
"And you must be Phil! Dan never shuts up about you!"
She said to Phil with a laugh. He held out his hand but she pushed it away. Phil was confused for a moment until my mom spoke.
"Oh nonsense Phil! In this family we hug!"
She said as she leaned forward and gave Phil a quick hug. Phil awkwardly hugged back as i tried not to laugh. My mother pulled away and settled back into the couch and smiled at us. I looked over at Phil and he was looking down. I lifted his chin up with two of my fingers until his eyes met mine. His eyes were full of panic as i realized what i was doing. My hand dropped down to my side again and we both looked down.
"Oh good lord boys! You look like a bunch of kicked puppies! Dan i know you're dating this young boy and i accept it. Quit trying to hide things from me! You're not very good at it. You're obviously head over heels for this boy and who am i to stop love?"
My mom said. I blushed and smiled as i looked up at her. I glanced over at Phil and he was smiling as well but continued to look down. I jumped up and tackled my mother in a hug.
"Thank you so much mom i love you!"
I said enthusiastically. She laughed and i pulled away, kissing her on the cheek. She pulled me close again so she could whisper in my ear.
"You better treat that boy right Daniel. He looks like hes having a hard time right now and i don't want to hear you hurt him."
She said softly into my ear. I nodded and turned back to Phil. He was still looking down so i pulled him up to his feet and hugged him tightly. He hugged back instantly and when we pulled away he had a huge smile on his face. He walked over and hugged my mom before thanking her. She patted his face and he stepped back gripping my hand. We told her goodbye and we left. Once we were a safe distance away I grabbed Phil by his shirt and kissed him passionately. We kissed for several seconds until i pulled away for air. He smiled at me.
"That wasn't so bad was it?"
I said with a smirk. He shook his head and pushed me softly.
"Shutup."
He said playfully before kissing me again softly.
