(Alex's PoV)
As we sat around the fire i was staring intensely at it thinking about my if I liked Eric or not when i felt fabric wrap around my body. A blanket. I look up to see Eric sitting next to me, instantly my stomach starts to feel weird… like… butterflies are flying around in my stomach. I notice i am staring at Eric so i quickly look down hoping he didn't notice. I hear him take a deep breath, i sneak a quick glance at him and it looks as if he’s going to say something.
“Alex I--” He was interrupted by my phone ringing. I glance at my phone, the ID was just numbers.
“Hello?” I ask into the phone
“Alex, Where are you? you were supposed to be here hours ago!” My dad… great, and he was mad.
“Im sorry, i lost track of time. im on my way” I quickly responded, hanging up so my dad didnt have a second chance to say something.
“Hey Eric i got to go, tell T i'll see her later?” I turned towards him.
“Of course i will.” He gave me a cheeky smile.
“Alright, well i got to go.” I said as i got up & hug him… and without thinking i gave him a quick peck on the cheek, like a girlfriend would do to thier boyfriend. I ran off out of the woods & down the street towards my house. The only thought going through my mind was. Damn it Alex you like Eric, you kissed his cheek, you kissed his cheek...
After a 2 minute walk i finally got home.
“I'm home!” I yelled as soon as i walk in.
“Get in here!” My dad yelled back. Shiz he sounds angry
“Coming!” I ran into the kitchen knowing he would be there. “ya?” I said as soon as i got there.
“You are grounded for the rest of the week, you know better than to stay out later than told. Where were you anyways? I had sent your brothers looking for you, but they couldn't find you.” He scolded me.
“I was with Tiffany & Eric, We took a walk and got a little lost trying to get back.” I lied, i know your thinking ‘why am i lying?’ Well my dad HATES it when we go into the woods & i don't feel like getting into more trouble.
“Next time tell me where you go, or else I’ll start treating you like i do your brothers. Now go, food will be done in an hour.” He said before turning away from me.
“Whatever” I muttered under my breath before going to my room.
As soon as i enter my room i fall onto my bed, pulling out my phone & started texting Liz
‘Hey Liz’
‘What up Alex?’
‘Oh nothing much, i just got grounded for the rest of the week because i was late getting home.’
‘That sucks, Well at least its only 2 days.’
‘True True, What are you up to?’
‘I'm getting ready for the orchestra concert.’
‘Oh ya thats today! Good Luck!’
‘Thanks, I gtg text you after the concert?’
‘Sure Liz, bye!’
I set my phone on my desk, bored out of my mind i went back downstairs and turned on the TV.
I was halfway through an episode of Grey’s Anatomy when my brother Ace walked in.
“What up ugly” Ace said.
“ugh leave me alone i'm trying to watch something here.” I responded
“Ew its stupid Grey’s Anatomy! Put something else on, something good.” He groaned.
“No.” I responded. I saw out of the corner of my eye that he was getting up, i figured he was going to leave. but i figured wrong. He took the remote out of my hand & changed the channel.
“Stupid give that back!” I ran after him. He started running for the stairs when i tripped him.
“Ow! what the hell Alex!” He whined.
“You should have given me the remote back when i asked.” I said as i grabbed the remote on my way back to sit down. Before i could sit down Ace got up and pushed me, almost causing me to fall forward. Thats when all hell broke loose. Ace & I started divining each other which led to hitting each other, we would have kept going but Eligah walked in & stopped us.
“Stop it before daddy comes down here!” he whispers.
“Ok Eli, here ELIGAH you can watch tv.” I emphasize Eli’s name just to bug Ace. Ace just rolls his eyes at me while i walk up stairs.
*Midnight*
Yelling, Cursing & Crying, is all i hear while i try and sleep. Shut up boys, don't make him go back in your room. He’s going to spank you again. please! It was as if they could hear my thoughts because they became quiet and i fell asleep.
(Eric's PoV)
I was sitting in my room, reading a book when Tiff decided to walk in.
“Hey E?” she questioned
“What up Tiff? I answered
“I was wondering…” She stopped, it looked as if she was trying to muster up the right words.
"What were you wondering T?" I looked back down at my book. She muttered something really fast & really quite. "Tiffany what were you wondering?" I ask again.
She took a deep breath before saying "I was wondering if you liked Alex, as in liked her like her?" She looked really nervous asking me that question. But why is she the one nervous SHE KNOWS I LIKE ALEX! I guess I was sitting there too long without answering because Tiff started dancing around, all excited.
"Ok ok, yes I like her like her Tiffany." I said laughing at her.
"OMG this is so great!!" She yelled.
"TIFFANY shush, why are you so excited. I thought you wouldn't want your best friend and brother dating?" I state putting my book down.
"Gosh why does everyone think this! I totally want you guys to get together. You guys would make the perfect couple!" She said while sitting down next to me.
"Wait who's everyone?" I questioned. Someone else thinks Alex and I would make a good couple?
"Oh just people, when they see the way you act around her. So ate you going to ask her out?!" She jumped up and down on the bed.
"I don't know, what if she doesn't like me like that?" I sighed.
"Jeez Eric you're so stupid,. She likes you, you idiot! Now how are you going to ask her out?" She edged on.
"Wait wait, she likes me?!" I exclaimed.
"Hmm oh ya, she told me. Now how are you going to ask her out!?" She asked frustrated.
"I don't know how! I never thought she would like me back in a million years..."I answered.
"Ok well I have an idea/plan" she said with a smile.
Oh crap what does she have planned...
