Friendship+Love=Secrets

(Alex's PoV)

These last few weeks have been amazing, we decided to keep our relationship a secret from our parents knowing they would just overreact. Everyone knew but our families, i haven't even told my cousin Casey yet and i tell her everything. We've been hanging out in the woods and having little dates here and there it was amazing. I think my dads starting to suspect something. I think he's noticed that Eric sits a little closer or that he comes to my house more often. We still haven't had a kiss i think he nervous, i know i am. I leave for my moms tomorrow for an entire month. This will be the first time we've ever gone more than a couple hours away from each other since we started dating. T doesn't hang around as much anymore and it scares me. She hardly talks to me anymore, i don't understand it can't be because she doesn't approve of my relations with her brother, i meant unless she changed her mind. If that is it then i know this is going to sound terrible but i'll dump Eric. Tiffany’s friendship means more to me than anything, shes my only best friend thats ever stuck around. Amy moved away once i meet Tiffany, Sammy switched schools and never stayed in contact after 4th, Hailey stopped talking to me once we left 6th grade. Tiffany is the only one who hasn't left, but shes drifting away.

*Next Day*

“Bye Eric” I said giving him a hug. “i'll miss you.” I whisper in his ear before pulling away.

“Bye Alex.” He smiled. I turn and see Tiffany standing there.

“Bye Tiff.” I smile.

“See ya Alexandra” She whispers before walking away, leaving me hurt and confused. Shes never called me by my first name, not once in our entire friendship. I glance at Eric, tears building up in my eyes and get into the car. Time for a 2 hour drive with my dad pestering me and the boys fighting. I put my headphones in and lean against the window.

I cant wait to see my mom and brother, finally some peace and serenity.
