Chapter 5

I walked down the empty corridor towards the girls bathroom. I was meant to be taking a very important exam that would get me into Harvard but honestly I don't care anymore. I think I'd rather get a shit job. I looked at my phone dismissing the notifications from my brother and friends wondering why I'm not there. Carters gotten together with his baby mama which is Georgina Sparks who before I didn't like but now absolutely despise. As soon as that baby's born I'm going to murder her. Like really. Well not actually but close to it. Everyone knows me and carter have been together since the beginning of time. Well off and on. I decided to not care anymore or as in the vampire diaries flip the switch. I jumped down from the counter giving dirty looks towards the freshmen. Imagine wearing your hair in pigtails, your not in elementary school anymore sweetheart.
I walked out of the school receiving confused looks from other pupils. This schools quite strict on attendance. I hailed a cab and went home. Lily and my father were sitting in the kitchen as I walked in. This will be fun.
"What are you doing here? You have an exam!" My father gave me a bewildered look.
"I'm not participating."
"Excuse me? What do you mean your not participating!" Now he was stood over me with a stern tone.
"I mean I'm not doing it."
"Don't be stupid! This is so you can go to Harvard!!"
"I don't want to go or for that fact ever wanted to go."
"Is this a joke? This is your future."
"Honey, I think you should reconsider this decision."
"No it's not a joke and Lily I love you and serena but please don't tell me what to do or act like my mother because you can't replace her but my daddy dearest thinks she can be so let's nip that in the bud."
"How dare you lily is apart of this family now."
"Doesn't mean she's my mother or anything that has to do with me. Not being rude just stating the truth."
"Apologise! Now!" I rolled my eyes sighing.
"Okay, lily I'm sorry my fathers using you because he's bored, really your a lovely woman and all that but you can do far better. Now i think I'll make an exit." I walked to my room leaving them gobsmacked. Feels good to get that out of the road.
I walked into my walk in wardrobe looking through my dresses. I found recently purchased black short tight dress. I changed into it grabbing my black sparkly high heels. I looked in the mirror and smirked at my curves. I look hot. I went to my desk and applied primer and started my foundation then I added concealer and filled in my eyebrows. I did a purpley pink eyeshadow look with a winged eye liner and added my fake eyelashes. I then applied bronzer and highlighter then finishing with a bright red lipstick. I grabbed my black and silver clutch and walked out the door ignoring the calls of my father.
I walked in through the doors of the club and smiled as I heard the loud music. I saw carter sitting with Georgina in the corner probably bored out of his mind. Thanks gossip girl for the location. But don't worry he'll notice me soon enough.
