This is a filler chapter! A continuation of Jasmine and Craig's sub-story. This is just something to hold y'all over until the next chapter is completed. School is not easy at all right now. But watch me make my comeback when school ends, despite the fact that I have a job coming soon. :)

- Craig.
The white walls of the clinic seem to close in with each and every breath I take. Here I am; in a clinic waiting to get tested. My eyes glance back and forth from a informational pamphlet I had picked up on my way in to my surroundings. I heard a squeal, causing me to look up from the pamphlet. A woman--whom I assumed was of Haitian descent--leaped into the arms of her white boyfriend. He laughed nervously, twirling her around.
"I can't believe we're having a baby, Martin!" She exclaimed.
I smiled slightly as other patients who were awaiting to see their doctors applauded the couple. I was slightly envious of them; oh, how I wished to be in Martin's shoes. I would much rather be in the clinic finding out that my girlfriend is pregnant instead trying to get tested for a fucking STD.
The vibration of my phone interrupted my thoughts. I pulled my phone out. Chresanto's name appeared across the screen.
Bro, before you left did you see Jah? The message I had received read. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion before a smirk spread across my face. I knew it wouldn't be long before Chresanto caved in and actually said something concerning Jah.
Nah. I see you're checking for her tho..., I replied. I chuckled as I sent the message off. I locked my phone, and within a split second, I got a text back from Chresanto.
Stfu, he said. I laughed and slipped my phone into my pocket.
The doors of the elevator at the other end of the waiting room opened, stepping out was one the prettiest girls I've seen thus far outside of Mercy Hall. She looked she was about my age. Her brown eyes wandered nervously as she dragged the soles of her rundown, white shell toe Adidas against the tiled floors. She stopped, and her eyes wandered again before staring at me. I stared back. She looked away quickly, and stood at the reception desk.
The girl spoke to the receptionist for a while before leaving the desk. She walked to the waiting area and looked for a seat. All of the seats were occupied except for the seat next to me. I had my backpack there, so I decided to move it. The girl's eyes widened and she sat down in the seat beside me.
"Thank you." She said quietly.
"No problem," I replied. She nodded, rustling through her unruly, dark brown hair. She looked up at the small TV that was mounted on the wall. The Price Is Right was on, and it reminded me why I had picked up the STD pamphlet in the first place.
Oh shit! The pamphlet! I slyly slipped the pamphlet into the pocket of my backpack. I didn't want the girl to look at me different because of that; then again, I didn't even know her.
I looked at the girl from the corner of my eye, analyzing her features. Her brown eyes were red and hollow and overlaid by the bags under her eyes. Her brown skin looked almost pale and lifeless, but nonetheless were her small freckles prominent. I had also noticed she had a few cuts on her face. She looked like she hadn't slept in days. Her legs shook vigorously. Her teeth began chattering.
