"It makes sense." Sam said, pacing in front of me. Dean sat next to me in the waiting room with Mary on his lap.

"What?" Dean asked.

"Maybe the reason that Mary was able to heal Matt was because it wasn't Matt. I mean, he was just possessing a vessel. He might have been pulled out in the fight that damaged whoever is in there." Sam explained as I just stared at Mary.

"Mary, sweetheart. How did you heal Daddy?" I asked, leaning closer.

She shrugged, "Unc Sam said he was sick. Daddy taught me what to do if someone was really sick like that."

Dean looked at me, "You did have angel blood when she was made. And Mathias is her father."

"She's a nearly full-blooded angel." Sam stated as his phone started to ring. He reached for it and answered the call. "Kevin? Woah, woah, slow down buddy. How 'bout was start with a 'hello'?"

"What's wrong with Kevin?" Dean asked, Mary grabbing his thumbs and playing with them like joysticks.

Sam held up his finger, "Yeah, we'll get there as fast as we can." He put the phone back into his pocket. "Kevin says he saw something, a vision, and it was about Matt."

Dean looked at me as if he was asking me permission to leave, so I said, "You guys go. Take Mary. I'll see if I can get Matt -his vessel- out of here since he's healed. You guys take the private jet. We'll fly coach."

After about an hour of convincing the doctor and nurses that Matt's vessel, Sunny, was fine, I signed him out and got him in our rental car. I brought him to a crossroads and told him to wait in the car. I dug a hole, put the summoning box in along with my picture, then buried it. Soon after, a demon appeared.

"Long time, no see, Winchester."

"Annabelle." I said, looking at my former co-worker. "How are the deals?"

"You mean since you closed hell? Sales have dropped unimaginably low. Takes more energy to get topside than it is to seal a deal." She said, tapping her toe. She looked behind me, at the car, and noticed Matt's vessel staring at her. "Isn't that your hubby?"

"Enough talk about him. I need to speak to Crowley."

She scoffed, "You think the King of Hell is going to visit an ex-crossroader just because she asked? In your dreams. Especially since the escapee skipped the cage."

"What escapee? The only person in the cage now is Michael. I killed Lucifer." I said, knowing that to be the truth.

"He wasn't the only one, darling." Crowley said from behind me. I spun quickly to see him with his hand in his overcoat pockets with his twisted smile spread from ear-to-ear.

"Sir, I wasn't expecting-" Annabelle said just as Crowley snapped his fingers, making her vanish.

"What escapee, Crowley?" I asked, my breath quickening.

"Before Michael was put into the Cage with Lucifer and your Uncle, he possessed someone by the name of Adam Milligan, just a kid at the time. But over a few hell-years in the Cage, he went insane and a couple days ago, he got topside and has been off the radar since. And the only place that is off the radar to me is Purgatory." Crowley babbled, circling me until I was between him and the car. "A few days before your husband was swiped from his meat-suit."

"So, you're saying this Adam dude has my husband in Purgatory?" I asked, biting the end of my thumb.

He shrugged, "You called about something?"

It took me a moment to get my head together, "Uh-yeah. I need you to get me and Sunny to Kansas. We have a certain person we need to see and-" he snapped his fingers and we appeared outside the bunker. "-we have to see him about this situation."

"Anything you need, darling." Then he vanished. Mat . . . Sunny stood next to dumbfounded.

"Demons. Get used to it." I said

Dean and Sam had called me when they got to Garth's boat and gave me the coordinates. I got into my Camaro with Sunny and started to drove to meet the guys.

"When Matt first . . . possessed you, how old were you?" I said, my hands on the wheel. "I mean, I meet him when we were both 15. And I know that he worked for Ivy for a few years before he was thrown into the pit, so I'm curious."

"Matt had a vessel before me. He possessed me when I was 13. My mom was this preacher's wife who wanted her son to be the closest to God as he could be." He laughed.

"Well, let me tell you. He's not as hot as he's cracked up to be." I said, seriously.

He gave me a look, "You've met him?"

I laughed, "Once. He saved my ass, but I haven't seen him since." Sunny nodded and adjusted in his seat.

"So who is this Kevin we are meeting?" Sunny asked.

I laughed, "He's and old family friend. Prophet of the Lord, actually. He and I meet after Mary was born. As an infant, she was having problems with a virus, an angelic virus. Since she was born an angel, there was a problem with her grace. It caused her to get sick and she nearly died, but Dean called Kevin and he knew what to do. He used a spell to settle her misbehaving grace and it worked." I laughed, smiling toward the road. "Matt, Kevin and I really hit it off and Kevin has been my best friend, other than Matt, ever since."

Sunny laughed, "Sounds nice."

"But now I have a question for you." He nodded, looking at me. "Are you gonna let Matt possess you again?"

He went silent for a minute before saying, "I know if I don't, Matt'll have to find another vessel. And since he met you, I know it sounds insane, but he's been happy. So, yeah, I would. You guys are happy for hunters, and I wouldn't want to see what you have gone."

"That's comforting." I admitted, feeling a great weigh being lifted off my shoulders.
