Just a little something I'd add for you guys. Hi, I'm Tensel, and I'm the author of this story. I hope it's very comedic as I tried some comedy here and there. I hope to enjoy. :)
————————
The setting of this story will be North Lake Minnesota in the far, far, northeastern region of Minnesota. There is snow there on the ground pretty much all year, and the temps are something else, yet they still have school. And it is very cold there.

NOTE: ALL CHARACTERS ARE MADE UP AND ARE FICTIONAL.
Cast:
Dailin — The cheerful one. He's loud, loves sweets, highly optimistic, and has a bright personality.

Parker — The jokester. He's funny, makes good jokes, and is loud also.

Jacob — The smart one. He's strategic, fun, has a very smart personality, he's athletic, and strong. He's also pretty calm, and collected. And can be hotheaded. (Also very short, but don't tell him I said that!)

Ryder — The creative one. He's pretty random, makes dank memes, pretty creative, fun to be around, and lazy.

Seth — The big brother. Has that big brother personality. Very chilled. Calm and collected, and protective over friends. He also makes ok jokes.

The cast I didn't try to add much diversity but I wanted to give them a certain personality so that you understand the characters a little more.

Now, I shall explain backstories.

Dailin:
Dailin's family had to move hundreds and hours of miles away from family down south up to North Minnesota. When he moved he made some friends but they weren't as good as his main group. He got bullied for hanging out with them but he didn't care at all. He just kept smiling, and kept having fun. Although him being the super positive and sweet person, there's a reason for this. He lost his older brother when he was younger to cancer. So, he wants to make the time he has with his friends the best time ever. His friends remind him of his brother, and his brother was the coolest thing to him. When he passed he didn't have anyone around to make jokes and make him happy- so he decided to be that person to make everyone smile, even when they're sad.

Ryder:
Ryder's always lived in Minnesota with Jacob and Parker. They were the original trio. The often got bullied by older kids but that was somewhat normal. Ryder when he was younger lost his dog. He now has a new one, but he loved his old one to death. Her name was Oreo. She was a Dalmatian. Ores grew up with Ryder, saved him from the snow, and Coyotes. She was just the coolest.

Jacob:
Jacob like said earlier always lived in North Lake, Minnesota. He's been bullied and what not. He's had a lot of unfortunate things happen to, though. His grandfather, as know as Grandpa Jake had passed and Jacob was super sad. His Grandpa was a huge inspiration to Jacob and he wants to be just like him.

Seth:
Seth has indeed had a sad past. He's lost his dad when he was just a little kid. Along with that he'd lost his grandparents, and even almost his mom. This is why Seth is so overprotective towards his friends, and is why he has the "big brother" trait. He doesn't want anything happening to his friends, and he cares deeply for them. They're like the brothers he's never had. He also moved to North Lake around the same time Dailin did.

Parker:
Parker has had a pretty normal life. Parker used to be considered "cool" until he started hanging out with Ryder and Jacob. Parker likes to joke around because joking around was his way to entertain the bullies and himself. Parker would take all the beatings for Jacob and Ryder because they were a little smaller than he was. He took the hits, and then joked about it to get rid of the pain.

Sorry for that long section. I just wanted you to understand the characters a bit more.

—————
The message from this story is quite simple, but way easier said then done in the world we live in. It is..

"Make the most out of what you got. Even if all you got is nothing. Make the most out of nothing and stay positive."

I know it's not a deep message or anything, but it is something most of us need to learn to do. I hope you learn this lesson by the end of the story through what the characters go through.

Happy reading! :)
