Dailin let out a big yawn just as he woke up. He was a little disappointed, though, because he was just having a dream about being the king of a food kingdom. He let out a sigh and slid out of bed.

"Let's see here.." he opened up his closet. Whatever he chose would be what he wore until I, the author, decided to update it of course.

He glanced at all his options. A sea of different variations of colors could be seen. Out of all of it he picked a plain white tee. ("This'll do.") he thought.

"Though, it does look a little plain. Oh, I know!" He said, a lightbulb appearing above his head. He someone noticed this lightbulb. He studied this lightbulb. And with that, he grabbed a Nike branded pastel yellow hooded sweatshirt from his closet. He grabbed a lighter color of jeans. Those jeans had patched up holes for style points. Dailin then ran to the bathroom to fix his hair, styling it neat, keeping his hair out of his face for the most part. Before he left he fogged up the mirror with his breath. After he drew a tiny smiley face. And with that he was out the door.

"Wait," He said while walking to the bus stop. The bus stop was where his group of friends would meet generally meet up.
"I'm forgetting something..." He said, "something small. But it's not Jacob?" He then realized he didn't have any shoes on.
"Ah, drats!" A hop and skip later he had on some vans. Checkered black and white, with the trademark logo being yellow.

Now, after dealing with that, he was off for the bus stop. Somewhere along the way Parker had joined the party. *insert rpg music* and now they were just reaching the bus stop. The pair was welcomed by a sleeping Seth. He slept peacefully. Ryder was sitting on his phone occasionally letting out a puff of air when he came across a good meme. Jacob sat, not late, with a smile on his face. Not long after Lillie and Annabelle showed up. Annabelle gave everyone a wave. Lillie was also on her phone. Looked like she was snapping a couple, hundred, or so pictures of herself.

"Soo.." Ryder said, "yesterday we luckily escaped the terrific beast of terror, Ms. Whatever-We-Call-Her-Nowadays!" Everyone gave a non-enthusiastic cheer.

"But!" Ryder said with a pause. Everyone froze. "She's not gonna let that one slide. She's gonna be looking for us guys. So keep your heads low these next few days. I don't want her to like- kill us or something. I mean, she did say we were to be punished or something like that?"

"I'm- I'm pretty sure that's illegal." Jacob said.

"Wait when did she say this?" Annabelle said.

"Like, I dunno, last chapter?" Ryder said casually. But nobody paid him no attention.

"Eh, it's okay. I'm pretty sure nobody knows our town exist anyways." Parker stated, " 'Cept for Canada."

Ryder let out a laugh, "Canada's not real, silly! It's like 100% fake."

"WAit- wHAt?" Annabelle shouted. "That's just not true. That is false fact!" She said, she then proceeded to cross her arms and stick out her tongue in the most sophisticated way possible."

"Actually, she's right," It was almost if Jacob got tagged in a tag team heavyweight fight, "Canada was founded in 1583, by Sir Humphrey Gilbert." ("No, no, no!") Dailin could be heard screaming in the background.

"To be more specific," he continued, "Sir Humphrey founded St. John's, Newfoundland, as the first English colony. But, it was actually French explorer Samuel de Champlain who showed up in 1603 and established the first permanent European settlement. ("Why do we care?") A sleepy Seth replied. He had been woken up by Dailin's shouting.

"But wait, there's more!" He said. Dailin shouted more in the background about how he didn't need to know this stuff.
"He also established another settlement. Known today as Quebec City."
