While I was walking home I stopped to the corner store to get a lighter. I then walked to my apartment and snuck past the doorman so he wouldn't see me. I got on the elevator and approached Carmelo's door. I heard moaning and screaming from my mother in my apartment.
"That's nasty,"I stated with disgust.
I knocked on the door lightly.No response. So I figured he was sleeping and I opened the door with the key from under the door mat. He was laying on the couch knocked out. I put the blanket on top of him then kissed his forehead. I went into his room changed into my pjs ,got my lighter, my bag and went into the bathroom. I lit the blunt and took a long puff. I cracked open the window and continued to smoke. I can feel myself changing. The ceiling was spinning and the mirror was just hurting my eyes. Then there was a soft knock on the door.
"Huh..." I said slowly.
" Open the door Cassidy.."Carmelo yelled.
"Ok ok, you don't have to yell," I said opening the door.
"What the fuck are you doing, you know you aren't allowed to do this in my house." Carmelo said grabbing my arm and sitting me on the couch.
" Uh..I ....uh...needed it..." I said while taking deep breathes. Then I saw Carmelo disappear into his room.
"Ugh..what did I just do, " I thought to myself. I closed my eyes and the darkness took me over for the rest of the night.
