The wind whipped my hair around my face, slightly obscuring my vision of him. I pushed my hair back angrily, and began pulling it into a knot on the top of my head.
"I liked your hair better down, although now I can see your cheeks flush when I complement you." And cue the burning face and his melodic laughter.
I paused, no longer paying attention to my embarrassment. Instead I watched him. How the skin around his eyes crinkled up. The way he tilted his head back slightly as he laughed. How his lips were stretched widely over his teeth. He was a mesmerizing sight. He was mesmerizing, and I knew I was in big trouble.
I had fallen in love.
