I hope one day that you can understand why I can't love you anymore.
I know, I promised I'd always be there. You said that we'd last longer than forever. Our forever must not have been long enough.
I fell in love with that captivating smile and adored those compelling eyes. You always said you loved the way our bodies would mould together. My voice had been your sweet lullaby.
Yet soon, so soon, it all came crashing down. My voice became nails on a chalk board and your smile was nothing but a grimace. Your eyes showed no emotion. You didn't hold me anymore. Claws and teeth. Ropes and daggers. We were a car crash waiting to happen. Then suddenly. The fire went out.
I hope one day that you can understand why I don't love you anymore.
