The River Derwant's torrential waters raged throughout the county of Derbyshire. A limestone Mine was underground, that was used my Miners to extract the rich minerals that was embedded into the sharp rockcliffs; The Minninglow tombs also surrounded the county; Five Wells also completed the exotic sounding names that completed the foreign-sounding countryside that surrounded the area.

The gold colored carriage arrived at the Manor.

Lady Edwina peered out of the window.

"Pray tell, Reeves, it is enormous".

"It is the best we can do M'Lady. I have written to Lord Sommersett about your husband's situation. He is a Lord; he is worthy of such a status as one".

"But he lied-".

"M'Lord is a man of dignity. He has battled Regents for a long time. They know he is of regal stock. Yet his Mother and Father were denied a Royal name because of his brother's abdication in 1807". Reeves shook his head.

"Abdication...", she was aghast.

"Aye. Lord Seamus Thorne was 24. He courted Lady Andrea Locke. She was 16. She had over-protective commoner parents.

"They forbade the marriage. The father ordered him away by force of law. Seamus, a dashing rogue, and Lady Andrea made love in his private chambers one day. When her father caught them, he informed Lord Dregstone, the Head of Derbyshire Court.

"They arrested them both. And, when they heard of his abdication, he was imprisoned for life. Lady Andrea was stripped of all royal duties...and imprisoned as well. They died from typhoid sickness in 1811, and it became a tragedy...

..."And the scandal forced M'Lord's future.

"He took time to become a Lord of mercy...But others conspired to get rid of him because of his brother. He is not a true rogue".

"Aye, I do need to make all of the Lords...And Ladies...know that I won't vanish...And nor will I", she declared...even though Reeves knew that she was in denial of the real truth about their situation.
