The voices increased.
"This is an outrage!", Lord Thorpe shouted.
"You seem to forget that you're a false Lord", Lord Sommetsett forced him down the cobbled steps of the dark Tower...and into the open, black colored cell.
"My wife...".
"She's in her own cell. You two shall rot in here".
"But I have £100".
"You do?".
"Well, Reeves has. He's my Treasurer". He bowed his head...as he heard other voices come forward to the Tower.
"STOP!!!", Reeves yelled.
He gave the startled Lord his money.
"You're not going to prevent I...".
"Let M'Lord, and M'Lady out!", Reeves screamed. Lord Sommersett's face was etched in misery. He accepted the bribe.
Two English soldiers stood at at attention.
"LET THE PRISONERS OUT!", he ordered.
"Aye!", they saluted...as they entered two of the cells...and let Lord and Lady Thorpe out...just as they hugged each other...and were very greatful that they were alive.
