"So, y'see...I 'eard that Lady Edwina's cousin 's marryin' a Frenchman". Silas Rivers, the Barman, told the astonished drunks in The Bailey Thorns Pub.

He rubbed the scar that was on the right-side of his face.

"£3 if she is pregnant with Romain de Gye", a soldier smirked. He wore a regal looking helmet on his head; he also held a silver colored sword in his right hand.

"Did ye 'ear tha' lads...? She 's with the Leader of the French Foreign Legion". More soldiers grumbled; more soldiers drank their Guinnesses, as if to expel the bitter taste that an English Lady would marry into one of England's enemies.

"A shame", Silas sighed, as he drank a glass...and waited for the trouble to begin.
